Plain and simple, Greek life does not exist at Sarah Lawrence. There are no sororities and no fraternities. No residential area even gets close to holding frat-like qualities, and although group houses in Slonim Woods or Andrews Court are often social hubs on the weekends, most parties are still defined by tight-knit social groups.

Sprawling, open-to-all parties almost never happen at SLC, and parties that threaten to get that large are dispersed by campus security more often than not. Those who seek to enjoy Greek-style parties on the weekends generally go to NYU or Columbia, or other larger universities in the city.
