Career Services: As I am obligated to start my transferring process a year prior to my transfer date, I have been participating in workshops and meetings dedicated to the transfer process. Considering that Santa Monica College is boasted as the number 1 in transfers to institutions like UCLA, I expected an excellent post-grad service. And so far, I was not disappointed. The workshops to transfer to UC's are very helpful and informative. If I have any further questions that I prefer to be dealt with in a more personal manner, I have received effective help in counselors that are specialized in the transfer process. I especially built a liking to the career counselors because they help me connect my ambitions with a suitable career field and even a specific career. It has helped me greatly in clearing my anxieties about determining a major and whether this major is the right path for me. Coming from a family that perceives the medical field as the major with the most opportunity, anxieties are inevitable. And the career counselors do an excellent jobs in alleviating any worries.

Career Services: The Career service center is great. I will go there this upcoming semester to get some help with my personal letter and resumé.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: Career center guides you to find internships. They work with you to have future jobs.

3 College Junior

Career Services: They offer plenty of links and resources to find a job but don't directly help you. There are on campus jobs which are easy to apply for and some are related to majors to begin getting direct experience in your field.

5 College Junior

Career Services: Comparatively I imagine we have one of the best.
