For being a community college, Santa Monica College has a very impressive campus, various resources, and qualified staff. The school itself is very pleasant aesthetically, containing beautiful vegetation, irrigation and public areas. As a veteran, I have been welcomed very warmly to the college. The resources for students is impeccable, and I find it easier to be successful as an undergraduate transferable student. Overall, I am pleased and privileged to attend the college, and will miss it when my time comes to transfer to a university.

Santa Monica College is a college that wants you to succeed. The professors are there when you need them. I think the intimate setting makes it easier to learn. The classes are never difficult but challenges you in the way you need to be challenged. Overall I have not taken a bad a class at SMC. Even the online classes are great and are ideal for those who have a busy schedule during the day.
