Academic Flexibility: Usually, classes only offer one section. So if you want to take two special courses, there's always a chance that they will be scheduled at the same time. It's murphy's law, it happens at some point. English 111, Math 102, those kinds of classes usually have 6-12 sections, so those are easier to schedule around special classes.

Overall Experience: I would choose to go here, mostly because it has good cores for little tuition cost with generally great instructors. I love the humanities classes I've taken when they're actually happening. There are lots of areas to improve in, but overall SFCC is pretty decent.

Overall Experience: This is the best part about SFCC. The majority of the instructors are really great. I, along with some people I know, have run into the occasional awful instructor. Most of them are in the science department, or the occasional English or Philosophy teacher. Class sizes are decently small. Max class size is 20-24 students. My Japanese 2 class had 6 students in it. It was amazing. The average class size is about 16. Everyone gets a lot of attention. Class styles depend on the instructor, but mostly they're interactive with a lot of student voice and guided discussion, especially for humanities classes. Science and maths classes are okay too, and the instructors let you ask questions (most of the time).
