3 College Junior

Transportation: Need more shuttles and stuff to other places than the airport

3 College Freshman

Transportation: I know that the bus and train are often used.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: It's pretty expensive to take Caltrain to San Francisco, but it is very convenient. The bus system is good, especially for getting to the local malls. But you must pay attention to the schedule as buses run less frequently after 9:00 p.m., and you can get stranded.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: The best thing about transportation is that the transit center is directly across the street from the school, which makes riding the bus to the airport or nearby city, as well as taking the train very accessible.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: The Caltrain station is right next to campus! Doesn't get much better than that!

Transportation around the area can be difficult if you don't have a car of your own. Luckily, Silicon Valley provides plenty of ways to get around through public transportation. The Santa Clara Caltrain station is right across the street from campus, and the Caltrain can take you to nearby towns like Palo Alto or even up to San Francisco. A free airport shuttle also leaves from this station, which makes flying home a breeze.

Campus is small, so many students choose to walk; however, many other students choose to longboard or bike to class, especially those who live off campus. A bike is handy for getting around Santa Clara, but to go anywhere else, you need to drive or take a bus.
