Off-Campus Dining: There are a few pretty good places that are walking distance so it's a good break from Benson but aside from that there aren't a ton of options that don't require a car. The places that are driveable (10 minutes drive) are great though!

4 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: The price is relatively reasonable with a lot more variety than what's offered on campus. There aren't too many student discounts available though. Definitely check out Ike's on the Alameda and Mondo Burrito on Benton St.

Off-Campus Dining: Good selection of off campus dining. Many local restaurants are popular amongst students

Off-campus dining around the Santa Clara campus tends to be quick and casual, with options ranging from fast food chains like Taco Bell and Subway to pizza joints and a family-owned Mexican grill. There are also some nicer, reasonably-priced, sit-down restaurants a few blocks from campus in Franklin Square.

Once you venture farther from the immediate campus area, there's a wider variety of cuisines to choose from. Santana Row has the greatest concentration of good restaurants in the area, from European bistros and cafés to upscale Italian, Indian, Japanese, and Mexican restaurants. Though a little pricier than what's offered around campus, these places are popular for students to take their parents or celebrate a special occasion.
