Academic Experience: If I had done more of my homework and paid attention more in class, my grades would be better. In the end, you get what you put out. I had the potential to be great. And now I'm okay, getting better.

Academic Flexibility: It's great that I got to manage my school with work and still be able to transfer to a University, it is tough but with hard work and dedication anything is possible. Hassle always was getting classes that I needed and it came with frustration because you knew it was going to affect your curriculum and delay your transfer year. Other than having great counselors guide you and tell you what to take it was easy applying to Universities and transferring my credits to them.

Academic Experience: Majority of my major Classes (Criminal Justice) are only offered once a year and at times that were not so appealing. It was hard at times to get a class because of the high demand they generated. I am glad to have come across a variety of amazing professors that guided me through the whole process because of them I am more knowledgeable of my major and I am happy with what I want to do for the rest of my life.

Overall Experience: My tenure at Santa Ana College has been okay. I regret not taking advantage of the amazing counseling help provided at school. If you ask for help to make an Education Plan for a few years then transfer it will be great but it ultimately comes down to the student and his/her dedication. If the student put all in effort and does great at SAC you'll definitely be at one of the countries best Universities. I learned that being lazy and not being dedicated will not take you far and it will lead you to drop out. Luckily I caught myself just in time and hey cannot complain if all goes well I'll be at a great University next semester! But yea school wise there are programs you can join in order to be involved but I feel that majority of the students just went to school and left as class ended. It all comes down to what the individual is willing to put forward into their education.
