Online Courses: The online courses are pretty good. You do everything at your own pace so if you are not self-disciplined well enough then you will struggle.

Overall Experience: The courses and professors are amazing. The teachers understand the commitment you put into their classes so they will give you the same amount of commitment. The courses that are offered are great and you can do pretty much anything there and find a course that fits what you are looking for. The classes aren't too big and the learning styles that professors incorporate are for every type of learner.

Academic Experience: I haven't had a lot of experience pertaining to strictly my major. But the classes I am taking are really helpful and I see them helping me in the real world when I chose my career. The workload isn't too bad and the teachers that teach the classes are dedicated in helping you. The only thing is that you have to be very dedicated to your major because if you are not and you transfer majors, you have to start from the beginning with some of the courses. For example, if you move from a liberal arts major to a science major, you will have to make up a lot of credit hours because of how different the majors are.

Overall Experience: The advisors work hard to make sure you are on the way to your degree and won't make you take unnecessary classes. All of the classes are nationally accredited so you don't have to retake the classes you have already taken when you transfer to a 4-year college/university.

Academic Flexibility: I think there are frustrating experiences at every college. I mean it is college after all. But I think San Juan college makes it easy. It works great for me personally in the way that it's really close, it's not in a big city, and the cost is very reasonable.

Online Courses: I think it differs in the way that it's a smaller school so It's pretty close together. The classes are smaller as well. I think overall it's more laid back and relaxed

Career Services: This school offers a lot of Job opportunities. But like with every school again, it depends on what you study. Some things are more applicable than others. It's just the way it is.

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been a great one. Ive really enjoyed myself over the course of the time I have been here.

Overall Experience: I think there are a lot of hardworking students. But like at any school there's going to be people that dont care as much as others.

Academic Experience: I think San Juan college is great place for anyone to learn. I really enjoy it so far.

4 College Junior

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Applying was easy and they are very helpful in getting all the proper and required paperwork for to ensure you will attend the college.

Academic Flexibility: Everyone in the transfer process is great. When I moved to Utah for a short period my classes were acceptable and there were no issues.

Online Courses: I have had some good and bad experiences with online classes. The ones that have been great experiences have had teachers that were good. They helped when they could and responded quickly to emails and questions. Most were fair in their grading and giving ample time to submit our assignments. The main bad experience I had was the teacher was not very understanding. I was basically in labor with my baby and she would not let me extend my test. It was to be completed at that date and time with no exceptions! She was not budging on that one. Needless to say, I had my baby the very next morning!

Overall Experience: All of the professors that I have encountered are very knowledgable in their area. If they don't know an answer they will make sure and find it. They let us know exactly what to expect in every course and don't throw suprises our way! They have a mutual respect for students and we do them. They are very understanding that we all have a "life" outside of school.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I have not competed my degree yet, but I have heard nothing but good things about it from so many people in the community.

Overall Experience: San Juan college is a great place to start your education. The classes are small enough that you feel there is more one to one educational experiences. The instructors for the most part are very helpful and answer any questions you may have. The health and human performance center is a great component so that students can stay healthy. It is free to students who are enrolled in a certain amount of credit hours. San Juan College is expanding all the time which gives our community great opportunities to expand our career and knowledge. This helps us to be able to stay in this area. The staff in admissions and financial aide have been wonderful and are so friendly and helpful! I would recommend this college to anyone wishing to do more with their life!

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: well im studying online but my advisor gives me good tips on how to get my foot in the door with a vet clinic near me.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: its been great sometimes the work can be hard I am more of a hands on learner then a reader but other then that its been good, and I always get advice from my teachers whn im feeling down about something or if something is hard for me i ask questions which helps alot.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have had a great experience with San Juan college every one is always so helpful I have no complaints.

Overall Experience: Over all the school is alright. Although for the medical field, which I'm going in to, there is not much diversity.when I first attended San Juan, my student advisor was not helpful at all. She never showed me the semester calender that would help me get through school faster or helped advise me through the right classes. So that would be something to take in mind when first starting. I do like everyone at the tutoring center, they are very student oriented. This school is alright for people who are looking to get better jobs in the community. My school is very community oriented so they do alot of community based played and activities. I would not recommend online classes here. But on campus classes, the teachers are very helpful.
