Athletics: SJSU takes pride in it's football, basketball and baseball team. Games are full of school spirit and students. Plus, there are often many giveaways at games free for students.

Off-Campus Housing: From what I've seen, off campus housing is not only expensive but the apartments and houses are sketchy and because it's in a major city, you get very little space for a lot of money.

3 Recent Alumnus

Party Scene: Haven't been to many parties here, but it seems like house parties are always fun!

4 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: A few of my favorite off campus places to dine are Pizza My Heart (affordable, do fundraisers with KSJS and have a rewards stamp program) and Iguana's (quality mexican food for a low cost and student discount!) both are walking distance from campus.

Campus Food: There are many options for dining around campus if you aren't satisfied with option on campus. Within walking distance there is a togo's, quickly, pizza my heart, La Vics, Ben& Jerries, Iguana's, Jack in the box, mcdonalds and so many more options. It just depends on the preference of the student

Off-Campus Housing: I currently live off-campus and I will admit it is a hassle. The cost of the house it outrageous. You are giving a parking permit, but parking is never guaranteed and really hard to stumble upon. The landlords are extremely strict and do not even let you listen to music and enjoy your day.

Party Scene: This year, I attended the Spartan Splash and recommend it for every person that has the opportunity. Great event!

Off-Campus Dining: Due to the diversity, there are many healthy and unhealthy options.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The process is very easy and self explanatory.

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Expensive, limited and often in sketchy areas. Finding places to rent sucks due to the downtown location.

4 College Junior

Party Scene: Greek parties are abundant after dry rush and always have a ton of people. House parties happen all the time and there are often many on the weekends.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: La vics, iguannas, pizza my heart and way too many to list with in a 1 block radius of the school. Every type of ethic food is within walking distance.

3 College Junior

Administration: Pretty strict on enforcing housing policy, they do runs several times a day and knock if they hear partying related noise or smell weed.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Specific scholarships, many of which only apply to certain groups.

4 College Junior

Campus Food: The DC sucks but what do you expect for a college dining common. Since the new addition to the student union finished, we now have options more options of food.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Campus village is great with its CVA freshmen apartments and CVB sophomore 15 story apartment building. The bricks and Joe West are a old and not nearly as nice as the campus village, both are freshmen housing.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: Lots of diversity on this campus.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Many people get hired in the silicon valley, lots of opportunity.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Most professors are good, you will not study as a freshman. Just go to class and you'll pass.

3 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Everything is under construction right now, so lots of detours.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: Not safe at night but once you're 21, you're gonna be so happy you came here with all the clubs and bars near campus.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love my school and it was definitely not my first choice but I don't regret coming here.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Definitely would recommend to choose your courses before the first registration date and have backups, getting the classes you need is hard sometimes, most professors are nice and caring and very willing to help. There are a lot of different majors and classes to choose. If you stay focused, you will graduate in 4 years. The people are nice and I am really glad I chose SJSU.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Obtaining an internship and career at SJSU is amazing, because we are in the heart of silicon valley and only 45 minutes from SF, there is a lot of opportunity here because employers want to hire us.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: If you love Asians, this is the school for you. A lot of my friends who didn't find them attractive before, do now. But there is a lot of diversity.
