3 College Junior

Campus Resources: It is easy to get around once you get use to it. Items on campus are a bit over priced for buying. The library is a quite and easy place o go to study and get much needed work done. If needed help it is sorta easy to get help but also difficult on acassions

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Being a radio and television student is si fun and stress free. You can definitely get an internship through this program.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Other than radio and television everything is not that great. Getting into ither classes such as communication studies is a pain.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: The radio and television instructors are the only ones that help with jobs and internships in the media field.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Sometimes they have events and have food drives wich is a lot of fun.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Too many people on campus who don't need to be there and it is small and crowded all the time.

3 College Junior

Career Services: In the radio and television department they will help you find an internship before you recieve your A.A and then once you recieve your A.A they will help you find a job.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I get my units waived but I've never gotten financial aid since they ask for too many papers and when i try to turn them in they always say something is wrong and eventually always pass the deadline.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: The radio and television department is the best on campus!

1 College Junior

Campus Resources: Trying to talk to a counselor is impossible.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: The process was quick and satisfying. First come first serve when it comes to getting aid.

Student Body: A typical student at Delta is a hardworking and driven person who desires to elevate their education.

Academic Flexibility: The experience at San Joaquin Delta College has been a great experience. There are numerous things to do around the campus whether it be to participate in the students events that happen each and every day, to gaze at the beautiful koi fish pond in the middle of the campus and to go to the music concerts and sports games. The library is a great place to study and get productive with school work.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: They're awesome and easy to do.

College Junior

Career Services: I still have not graduated.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: The online classes depend on the teachers. The SJDC platform is fairly straightforward and user friendly, but if an instructor requires additional online materials, then it becomes difficult to review grades and work with the tech support on the separate website.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am attending on the BOG fee waiver since I am in the Middle College High School program at SJDC.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Delta follows the IGETC and UC and CSU transfer agreements. It's fairly easy to work toward transfer credits because the school outlines the courses each semester and tells you specifically how many to take from each discipline. You can also participate in the TAG program which guarantees acceptance into a CSU if you maintain a certain GPA.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: If you are motivated, there are many career opportunities to pursue and many concentrated and combined courses to help you work toward your degree efficiently. But, if you are not focused, it is easy to spend to much time at Delta.

2 College Junior

Student Body: There are many student organizations, but no one really joins them because it is community college and most people want to take their classes, study, and then go home. Students do not really interact outside the classroom unless they are on an athletic team.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The Goldman library is very nice and the Math and Science Building is brand new and has well-stocked, clean, and updated labs and lecture halls. There are multiple tutoring centers, counselors, and athletic facilities, including two pools, tennis courts, and a track. The campus is old, but many of the buildings are updated or renovated.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: SJDC is a school with very attentive professors and many available classes. I am attending as a part of Middle College High School, so all my classes are paid for the the Board of Governors waiver. I have really enjoyed my time at Delta and I appreciate how the police try to keep the campus safe and how the maintenance staff keep the campus clean.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Although classes are fairly impacted at Delta, there are new classes added every semester. Classes are challenging, but teachers are very approachable and willing to help students. The professors want to help their students succeed, and students can take classes in almost any field!

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is a lot of resources as long as you are welling to look for them and use them.
