5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The curriculum has been extremely easy to manage so far. The school offers a wide variety of morning, afternoon, night, and online classes in various subjects. A student is always able to fill up their schedule without having to worry about a needed class being filled up.

Online Courses: Most work is done on a site called Etudes, and it is very easy to use and navigate through. It offers a concise menu which allows students to seamlessly guide themselves to the gradebook, assignments, and discussion boards. The whole class is rather faceless, however, so much of the discussions are done with a lot of typing and reading words from people with avatars. You also do not have face-to-face meetings with professors, but students are able to message them anytime they have questions. They tend to message back in a timely fashion. There are not really much presentations on the professors' parts, and most of the learning is through assignments and text-book reading.

Career Services: The school does have many opportunities to go into a career straight out of graduating with a technical degree.

Overall Experience: The quality of the courses and professors that I have learned from have been high. I have not yet had a professor that I believed was not there to teach to the best of his or her abilities. Some are more catering than others, but that is to be expected.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have not had much experience in this area, but it seems to be average.

Academic Experience: The psychology professors are all fantastic. They teach topics and discuss them in ways that makes it easy to comprehend. They are all helpful and are willing to answer any questions to the best of their ability. Their workload is also manageable and pushes students to learn in various ways.

Overall Experience: Honestly, I was surprised by the level of quality of many of the professors that teach at Delta College. My only gripe is with the area, but that is what one should expect when attending school in Stockton.

Overall Experience: San Joaquin Delta College is wonderful community college for both people who are unsure of what they want from school and people who are sure. It has great programs, courses, and professors. I am very fortunate to be a student here.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: San Joaquin Delta College has allowed me to gain confidence in myself based on the great amount of resources and teachers they have on campus.

1 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: It is very hard to get into the classes you need, and you end up having ridiculous schedules.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: While *SHOULD BE* pretty nice, the professors have no idea how to use it. Rather than post assignments into the calendar, for example, you'll receive emails from the professor telling you to submit it some other way that they haven't listed because they can't figure out how to add it to the system.

1 College Sophomore

Career Services: Post graduation services and alumni network is non-existent. Job prospects are extremely low.

2 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Classes are extremely hard to get into. Some of the teachers are okay, but many of the online ones may as well be donkeys. They don't respond to questions and seem to barely understand the topic.

1 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The alumni network and post-graduation resources are non-existent. No employers beyond vector marketing and warehouse labor advertise on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I'm majorless as I'm getting credits for a transfer, but even that is made extremely hard to do due to the lack of class availability.

2 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: While some teachers are better than others, the school over all and the administration is terrible. No one cares at all.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Registering for the classes are always the hardest part in the beginning of the semester since sometimes the school will give you a later date to register and by the time you are able to do so, the classes that you want are parlay full.

Online Courses: The online courses that I have taken are great. The professors were very informative and it is the student's responsibility to check the due dates for every quizzes and unit exams. Taking an online class was also very convenient to my schedule.

3 College Senior

Career Services: It would be best to say get involved and try not to miss any important meetings and make sure to get updated when it comes to the career center.

Overall Experience: The professors are great. They are very informative and very straightforward. They have office hours and it is great to utilize that time they have to meet with them one on one if there's anything that needs to be clarified regarding to the lectures and other things. Most professors that I have had will go out of their ways to help you. Their way of teaching and the way they grade are fair. You get the grade that you put your effort in !

Overall Experience: I have been enrolled at San Joaquin Delta College since the fall of 2012 and I am a nursing student who plans to transfer very soon. This college not only shaped me as an individual but this college also helped me further my education. The professors are all respectable (the ones that I've had so far) and there are also few professors who are not so great. Overall, it is a very resourceful place and many people that I have met were all genuine and welcoming.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: It is school. Not here to waste time. Here to move on and waste time later.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: I would say completely average.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: Can not wait to move on to a 4 year.
