3 College Freshman

Campus Food: I wish there were more variety in the foods and restaurants we have on campus. I often will eat at the same places and get sick of it because they are all similar as well. I also wish there were more inexpensive options.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: School food is school food. Cafeteria food is what you get. I'm jut thankful I can feed myself, however its a lot of money.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Food is very artificial and meal plans expensive.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The dining halls are very repetitive. It's not always the most tasty but will do. I love the salad bar and the amount of options they have! Ike's is the best! Cafe Rosso is perfect for a quick lunch and Natural Sensations has delicious smoothies and bagel sandwiches. The prices of foods are completely reasonable.

Many of the food choices at San Francisco State are downright delicious. Campus favorites have included the cheap and filling chicken pesto avocado sandwich and the ultra cheap and tasty smoothies. The dining hall, where students living on campus are forced to eat, is just bland and pretty much the equivalent of a high school cafeteria. The best plan is to ditch the meal plan after freshman year and grab your groceries from the Trader Joe's up the street.

Campus dining is very multicultural, and any type of cuisine can be found, which makes the on-campus dining options more diverse, including Mexican and Japanese dishes. The dining hall is great if a student doesn't care much about what is going into his or her body, which is why the extra cafés chock-full of healthy options are so welcomed on campus.
