Weather: San Diego is always known for the best weather, so weather here is obviously really great. After studying or class, you can always hit the beach or enjoy the outdoors. Sometimes studying outside feels nice too.

5 College Sophomore

Weather: Its Southern California! We are known for the amazing weather.

5 College Freshman

Weather: Can you get any better than sunshine every day of the school year? There were only a few days where it rained and San Diego citizens treat rain as a rare commodity. The weather makes campus a beautiful place to go to school and everyone attending is happy and glowing. The weather definitely supports the mood on campus.

5 College Junior

Weather: It's the best weather and the sunshine makes people happy. Sometimes people from the east coast complain about "missing seasons" but did you not research the weather in San Diego before coming to state? I can't stand people who complain about beautiful weather and whine "I miss the rain". Go to Oregon if you want rain.

When people across the States think of a place with perfect weather, they often picture Southern California because of its warm climate and low humidity. Though Los Angeles may be the largest city in Southern California, it is plagued by smog and other irritants. San Diego is the quintessential portrait of perfect weather for millions of Americans. If you’re looking for one of the best climates in the country, you’ll find it here in San Diego. SDSU offers one of the most perfect climates that any university has to offer.

However, perfect does not mean that there are sunny skies 365 days a year. San Diego receives its share of rain and thunder, but these events occur very rarely. The weather is about as perfect as it can get, but that doesn’t mean you can walk around in a tank top and board shorts every day of the year. During the winter, it can get cold enough in San Diego that a heavy jacket is required. During the summer, some days a jacket is needed, but most days you can get away with board shorts and a tank top. People complaining about the weather San Diego are not grudging on the same level as those people complaining about weather in New England. Southern California has bright, sunny weather a majority of the time. If you’re looking for that, you’ll enjoy the climate here in San Diego.
