Academic Experience: It's good though I am nervous that I might have to do acting. Since my major is theater arts though the production side. Sometimes schools require experience in acting.

Academic Flexibility: Things I have experienced this semester which I know not to do again is the money situation. I didn't know that the second semester payments had to be made when the first semester was ending. I was just so frustrated on how it would be made. Though I prayed to God to show me that I could trust Him with the situation. He made a way. I was able to pay for the next semester the day it was due. I thank God for getting me through the situation, and I trust Him always. I know that I need to file for fee waivers as soon as I can the fall semeseter.

Overall Experience: In all the courses I took my first semester went really good. Every professor I had I was able to talk to them easily and they really helped me get a better understanding of each task they assigned. They had rules that were easy to follow they made it clear on what would happened if we didn't follow them. They had a lot of in class activities where we would work with each other and it helped me make new friends.

Overall Experience: The employers really help you get an understanding of what your career path is. The steps to get to that job and classes that are needed. They will make sure that you know what you are doing before the meeting with them is done.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I spend just a few hours on campus but I do believe its a great school. They provide me with a good education for a lower cost than a university.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Nothing is unique about it. There is no school spirit.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would not go to that school again because I don't want to attend a community college any longer. There is no community at the school and it is real hard to make friends. There is no school spirit.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Some perks of attending mesa college is that some of the professors we have are the same professors who teach at San Diego State University. Also, something that I really enjoy is the diversity and multi-cultural environment.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Uniqueness that the school has is the diversity, because a lot of people that are from different countries and I learned a lot of their culture. Also it is great to be able to make friends based of the fact of being in the same class together. I would choose to go to Mesa College again because I am able to do classes that aren't necessarily for my major and it's great to learn new things like Black Studies.

Overall Experience: My school is great for the college student who does not initially wish to go to a 4 year institution right out of high school. It's a great way to get the requirements out of the way and save some money before finishing a Bachelor's degree out at a 4 year college. It is also a great way for any hesitant student to test the waters and even see if college is right for them. If I could do it all over again I would still choose a community college for the first 2 years, however, I would start earlier and not have waited so long after graduating high school.

Overall Experience: It's a beautiful campus with new facilities. It's also a short drive away from the ocean. They offer a 4 year bachelors degree program and also many other degrees that aren't available in other colleges like Japanese and Radiology Technology.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Out of all of the community colleges in the area, Mesa is known as the best. I came back for my second year and I don't regret it one bit. I recommend all community college students to come here, we have great programs!

Overall Experience: My overall experience at Mesa is great, so far so good. Classes are great, they might be small classes but I love that just because you get a chance to talk to you preffesor one on one . Mesa is a great school, some of my favorite experience at Mesa are when I walk around campus between classes on my 2 hour gap and sometimes there are people always trying to reach out I my out , to join clubs, and also sometime at Mesa we have little promotions and awareness of how not to drink and drive and how to get more scholarships or how to get active and I love that about. What makes my school unique is the diversity and different people with different cultural backgrounds, people at Mesa are amazing, everyone at Mesa is understating and are there to help you out. Mesa is also great for those who also want or need a job, because the classes there are at different timings , for example in my situation, I have a job so j can help out my parents with bills, so my classes work around my work schedule and it's just great, sometimes it's hard to get to my school just because I dont have independent transportation, but I do what I have to do to get to my classes on time, which are either getting up 3 hours early and catching the bus 3 hours early as well, just so I can get to class on time, or maybe I ask someone for a ride, but I hate having to do that just because I hate asking people and I don't want to sound annoying or bug anyone. I wouldn't trade my school Mesa for any other school just becaus the diversity is great and as well as the location. I also have a job which is great with my school because I need my job to help out my parents, or buy my books, I do wish that I would've had gone away to college just for that experience that in missing out on , like dorming , I hear my friends talk about it all the time. But I'm okay at where I'm at, especially also I wouldn't have a clear mind and conscious info would of let my parents behind with bills to pay, when I can help them.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have no been the most focused student because I am a full time employee but I am not giving up hope. I am trying my best to find a way to work less so I have more time to be focused and involved in my school.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: This school is unique because it's different from the average junior college; where the professor didn't care about their students and the students end up resorting into ditching a lot of classes. Also, there is diversity among academics, the students, and the extracurricular activities.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: San Diego Mesa College is best school for me and I've learned a lot from this school. The school has great environment to study and pursue your dream. I've had a lot of great professors with great programs to pursue my dream in studying psychology. I will definitely choose mesa college if I could do it all over.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The Academic options are diverse and this was the only college to provide the program I've been looking for, but it was difficult getting information on what I need academically to get into the program, and the system of priority registration of classes is unfair to those who are beginning or returning to college.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I am a senator on San Diego Mesa College's ASG board. Because of this I was able to get to know my school's resources very well, and they do an amazing job.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I do not pay at all for my units. All i have to pay for is my parking permit.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not really visited the career center at my college.

4 College Junior

Student Body: THERE IS A LOT OF DIVERSITY IN MY SCHOOL. NOT ONLY DIFFERENT ETHNICITY BUT ALSO VARIOUS AGE GROUPS.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: FLEXIBILITY OF MY CLASSES ARE PRETTY GOOD. FOR SOME CLASSES THERE IS NOT MANY OPTIONS BUT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO WORK AROUNF MY WORK SCHEDULE AND FAMILY SCHEDULE ALSO.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET INTO THE CLASSES I NEED WITH OUT A PROBLEM. THE CAMPUS IS GROWING AND EXPANDING MORE EACH YEAR.
