4 College Freshman

Administration: They are very strict but yeah.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: They don't give enough financial aid to really help with the burden of the fees.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Again it is very basic. Nothing special and the professors aren't all that. Except a few brilliant professors the rest are average

3 College Freshman

Academics: The academics is easy and basic. Nothing that will blow your mind, so they don't really challenge you.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love all of the professors I have had so far currently as a sophomore. I have not necessarily liked all of the courses I have taken, but I do like the professors that teach them which helps. In every school there's always going to be professors we don't like and that's a part of life but in general at salve they're very good.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I know we have the career services department which is very helpful. Aside from that the school has plenty of connections with the newport community along with the surrounding states.

3 College Junior

Athletics: A lot of people participate in varsity sports however most facility are not on campus such as the hockey rinks and the turf fields. The athletic center could be bigger but it does have enough equipment to get the job done. There is not a lot of school spirit but people will attend some of the home games if they have friends on the team that is playing.

Health & Safety: Campus security is always making their rounds through campus. There is rarely any news of violence and I have not heard anything about sexual assaults. It is overall a pretty safe campus.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of places you can order late night and a lot do have student discounts. If you want to go out to eat it is more expensive and there usually are not any discounts. There is a pretty good variety of places to ranging from pizza, to Chinese to pub food.

Local Area: The restaurants and bars are great for when you turn 21 but they are expensive. There are a lot of shopping places down town but they are expensive. The area is great for when you want to go for a run especially on the cliff walk.

Academics: I am a Biology major and it is very interesting if you enjoy the topics that the classes entail. However it is also a lot of work as you get into the upper level courses it becomes harder. The teachers are pretty good at explaining everything but sometimes you do get a professor that just does not know how to teach the subject. Research is available if students wish to take part.

4 College Junior

Administration: As long as you don't do anything stupid and you are not too loud in the dorms you wont get into trouble. Some teachers are strict with attendance and actually take it each class but most don't take it but will notice if someone is constantly missing. Cheating during an exam is taken seriously and it would b easy to get caught.

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus can be expensive, usually about 700 dollars a month. But when that is compared to the price paid for on campus housing, off campus is less expensive. It is just matter of having the money up front every month. There is not a lot of parking and you need to buy a parking pass. Most of the housing is down near Thames Street which is close to the restaurants and shops.

Campus Food: There is enough food options on campus that it is possible to survive. But there are not a lot of variety. The Starbucks is good and Jazzman's is decent but it would be nice if breakfast sandwiches were sold. Global is decent for a sandwich but more could be added to the meal plan, the best items are not part of meal plan.

Health & Safety: i feel safe on campus. Just know to never go anywhere alone at night and be cautious.

College Freshman

Party Scene: i havent really attended a party. im not a party person, but people say all they do is drink. i rather watch movies and hang out with my friends.
