College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I haven't had experience with off-campus living, but my friends have. I like the idea of it enough to give it a shot next semester.

Off-Campus Dining: I don't get a chance to go to the off-campus dining.

Administration: They say the shuttle is supposed to take you anywhere in a 5-mile radius but it really doesn't. I got left out in the snow on a -5 degree day for 6 HOURS because my location was "not within the limits" but a shuttle had dropped me off and I watched shuttles drive by. They refused. They also don't make the trips they say they do. They won't take you grocery shopping or anything like that, even though they say they do. And when you do call them, they treat you like you're a pain.

As for strictness, they are ridiculous about the guest policy. No opposite-sex visitors can stay the night unless they live on campus, or unless they're a sibling between the ages of 12 and 17. So my 17 year old sibling? No. My 10 year old sibling? No. My 20 year old fiance? No. Cannot come stay the night with me. Total. Bull. Crap. They refuse to budge on this rule.

Scholarships: They always sell about 100 more parking passes than they have spaces. I once had to wait an hour for a meeting with a professor because they couldn't find a spot to park so they could meet me at the appointed time. The professor had gotten there 30 minutes early to be ready for our meeting, meaning they spent an hour and a half looking for a spot.

Party Scene: I do a lot of work at the Visual Arts Center. The technology over there is wonderful, it's beautiful, and it perfectly caters to the art students and programs that it's there to satisfy. I love it.

Campus Food: The diner food in the cafeteria is greasy or just plain not good and it always makes me sick to my stomach. Gilhooley's does the same thing, and it's not just me. A lot of my friends avoid eating there. But the subway is good, and if you can grab a sandwich in the diner, it's pretty great. But the staff always acts like you're being a huge pain if you ask for something that requires them to do more than flip a patty or grab some chicken strips.

Campus Housing: The freshman dorm is crap. It has spider and mouse problems that no one deals with no matter how much you complain. But the upperclassmen dorms are nice. They're quiet and the rules are a lot more lax than the freshman dorm. The only problem is there's a ridiculous guest policy. Members of the opposite sex cannot be signed in to stay the night unless it's a sibling between the ages of 12 and 17, or unless they live on the campus. It's a ridiculous rule they refuse to budge on. Wanna have your girlfriend or boyfriend over for a movie night? Nope. Not gonna happen.

Party Scene: Parties tend to get broken up.

Majors: It is what I want.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't exactly know very much about off campus housing. A huge plus for students living off campus is privacy from the University administration.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Freshman dorms are not the best, but it seems like a nice social environment. Only big issue is there is not urinals in the bathroom so alot of the times some people don't pick up the seat and there is urine all over the seats. Everyone complains about it but there isn't really any way to fix it other than taking off the toliet seats and making them designated urinals.

Off-Campus Dining: I like being able to go to a place like Rosie ' s where the food is unique and it is cheap.

4 College Freshman

Administration: It's fine except girl's are not allowed to spend the night in a guys room. My girlfriend lives two hours away and it doesn't seem fair to not let her spend the night when she drives so far away and drives back tired because she can not stay.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I wish I would have been notified when my financial aid changed due to a class. It was reduced and I didn't know that until I had to call them a couple times.

College Freshman

Greek Life: There is no Greek life or anything like that at this university.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: The local atmosphere is pretty laid back. There aren't really a lot of activities to partake in though.

Majors: I enjoy being in the education program. I feel like all the adults in this program are very helpful in assisting us with getting through this process.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: The financial aid process was not very difficult since I had someone helping me.

Athletics: The athletics at my school are pretty important to most of the students here, bu sports don't really interest me.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I live with my parents.

3 College Junior

Majors: I plan to get an internship next summer to gain experience.

4 College Junior

Majors: Admission was easy and quick.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: Always apply early for financial aid.

3 College Junior

Academics: I am majoring in business. It is a lot of working in groups with other classmates. You also do some presentations. The curriculum is average difficulty.
