4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: St.Joseph's College seems to be pretty safe. The health of the student's is fantastic and if someone gets injured or sick very quickly security is on top of it right away!

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: There is no Campus Housing at St. Joseph's College- Long Island (yet)

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Everyone is really nice, you just have to find out where you fit in. Just because your friend is joining a sorority or fraternity doesn't mean you have to join the same one. You could join a completely different one and still be best friends and make new friends along the way! Housing isn't available because there are no dorms on campus, but everyone has different views and beliefs about the Greeks in their own schools. It depends on who you're asking.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Everyone with a student or faculty ID can use the sports equipment, the gym, the weight room, the pool, the track, etc. It's a great environment. Even people who don't use the rooms and equipment go to the Gym Building just to hangout in the lobby with their friends!

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The college environment is comfortable. Everyone there is really nice and shows respect I've never seen at a school before. It's completely different then the high school I went too, which I love. It's a small campus but you never stop meeting people that go there and it's a fun environment to be in.

1 College Freshman

Party Scene: Commuter school. Not really any night life unless you plan meeting friends at an area bar or club.

1 College Freshman

Party Scene: Not a party school. Not necessarily a bad thing!

4 College Freshman

Academics: Excellent for the areas they concentrate in, primarily education and recreation. Professors are generally very committed and helpful. Workload is demanding but not overwhelming.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Everyone is very excepting of each other.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Students here are serious about their school work and life. Very little evidence of drug use.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Great security. Feel very safe. Health and wellness center always available.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Small class size. Teachers get to know you and are available to help.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: None for helping to secure internships and job placement. Available to recent grads for advise and guidance.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Not interested and can't really comment.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Fan support is very high for a low level college sports program. Athletes put academics first but still take pride in their performance.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Small classes. Helpful professors. Love working at the Library and being in choir.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The students here act as if they are still in hs

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I think the academics are great and I definitely am learning a lot compared to other schools on the island

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: There really is no party scene considering it's a commuter school, although some of the frats or sports teams will throw house parties sometime

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: It's not very diverse, but everyone is very accepting

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: It's a dry campus so there is a lot of drug safety

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Extremely safe. We have a health and wellness center open to anyone and campus is very strict about student safety

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Some professors ate phenomenal and others are horrible. It's pretty much a hit or miss. As far as the education department goes, the education classes are great and you really learn a lot, but I think the core courses are a waste of time. For example you need an art history credit for education and I feel like I didn't learn a thing and will never use any of that information again

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: St. joes is a great school for internships. I know a lot of people who have gotten jobs right out of college no matter what their major is

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I'm personally not a big fan of Greek life. We recently became a Panhellenic school and I liked it a lot better when Rush was informal. But other than that if you're not involved in Greek life no one will really treat you differently
