4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Many good places with great variety

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Had some issues but they were very helpful at a quick manner

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Basic food options. Soon to be opening a starbucks and new lounge area

Party Scene: There are not many parties (or at least that I know of). As i mentioned in the previous comments, Saint Joseph's College is a commuter school and hence there are no dorms. This makes partying very hard in addition to the fact that I do believe it is a dry campus. If you want to party, you have to have connections with certain people and I'm guessing they are usually just small house parties

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is a shopping center right near the campus however, because the college is a commuter school, the restaurants don't offer student discounts because the school isn't really affiliated with any of the restaurants/eateries there.

Administration: SJC is a smoke free and dry campus I believe so alcohol and tobacco are not allowed on school grounds. As a result, they are very strict with these policies as well as parking. You will receive a parking violation and be fined if you park in the faculty parking lot by accident even if its on the first day of classes.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: SJC is very generous with their financial aid. I believe roughly 80% of the students that attend receive some form of scholarship from the school which is awesome.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food is average. They offer Chicken fingers and fries everyday for lunch. Each day they also have a special meal though such as Chicken Cordon Blue or something fancier. The food is actually pretty good and they also have a lot of breakfast options as well. This upcoming summer they are actually adding a new food court and switched companies so this review may or may not be completely accurate to the food sold beginning in the fall semester.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Mainly just fast food restaurants but they have a few nice restaurants too

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I think the school is very generous with their scholarships and financial aid

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: It's decent but very over priced

Overall Experience: My experiences with courses and professors at this school was excellent. The quality of courses were very informative and prepared me well for the career that I have chosen. Class styles were interactive at times but mostly lecture. Class sizes were very small, allowing one on one learning time during class or after class with a professor.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: The student career prospects are adequate and a degree from this college is well respected across long island. The quality of the alumni network is fantastic and those who have already graduated, are very eager to help you succeed as well. The quality of employers recruiting on campus is also extremely well organized and helpful. The quality of career/services on campus is always there to aid someone in finding a job position. I have to say, this year being my final year, my professors and also campus staff, have helped me and guided me in finding a teaching position by the ending of my semester.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Fan support, school spirit, and athletic facilities are all welcomed to those who attend St. Josephs. School spirit is strong, team performance is fantastic, and student involvement is incredible.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: The off campus dining options near my school are very diverse. Located on main street, the dining options are plenty. With a wide variety of different cultural foods, their is option for everyone. Student discounts do not apply to some restaurants, but prices are reasonable. The best places to check out are Gallo, public house, J & R, Brick house, Mi tierrita, Munich, and many other places.

4 College Senior

Administration: I've never encountered a situation in which school policies affected my or any other student's academic or social life.

4 College Senior

Scholarships: The financial aid process was pleasant. To gather information pertaining to aid, the staff and the process was never a hassle. I was always accommodated for any needs, questions, or help I may have needed for the process.

3 College Senior

Campus Food: The food options available for students is very limited. The menus are simple and a wide variety of options is not available either. The cafeteria is very spacious and does have enough seating, but more tables and seats should be placed. Furthermore, the meals, drinks, and other snacks can range in pricing. Some items can be costly and others, set at a reasonable price.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: The is a Wendy's, enough said.

3 College Senior

Administration: It's average I guess. The security guards are nice!

4 College Senior

Campus Food: The food is really good but a little on the expensive side.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Although I do not participate in the athletics at my campus, I've received great feedback and recommendations from other students.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Because the campus is located right off of Sunrise Highway and minutes away from Main Street, in Patchogue, the dining choice includes a variety of cuisines, as well as prices. From small coffee shops and cafes to extravagant Japanese restaurants and steakhouses, the campus provides students will countless dining options.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: All the people in sororities and fraternities seem welcoming and friendly.

5 College Sophomore

Local Area: Just your typical Long Island Suburban town.
