Off-Campus Housing: There is no reason to live on campus and pay through the nose when there are so many options off campus that are really cheap. Maybe not the safest but you learn to lock things up and take precautions to protect yourself and your possessions

Off-Campus Housing: Some landlords are great, some are awful. I got stuck with a pretty awful one for 2 years, but I had no means to move. There are some awesome places to live within walking distance, though. It's definitely worth it to live off-campus. Even though my experience wasn't ideal, I'd do it again for the location. Literally a block from campus paying a little over $300.

Off-Campus Housing: You can find plenty of options, but none are going to be that great.

Off-Campus Housing: From personal experience it is very hard to find an apartment. They fill up quickly so you really need to be on your game. I think that they pick seniors and juniors over incoming sophomores so that makes it difficult also.

Off-Campus Housing: I live at home with my parents but I know there is plenty of off-campus housing available near campus. Often the quality of this housing is average/poor. That is generally expected in a college town.
