Off-Campus Housing: I dont do off campus hosing so I can't really comment

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The cost of off-campus dining is sometimes too much

Scholarships: Although financial aid was a hassle for me due to personal reasons, you get assistance. If you have a balance on your term bill that you can pay, you can apply for an appeal and get additional funds if it available. And the additional fund is not a loan, its a grant. Therefore, you are not paying anything back.

Party Scene: I dont really party much

Campus Food: The food in Stonsby is horrible. Students pay too much to eat poor quality food. It isn't fair that Rutgers Newark Funding goes to Rutgers New Brunswick because they are the main campus. We are here and we exist too. We too are humans, and we should be treated as such. It is disappointing and takes away from the college experience. Often times students have to go into their own pockets to purchase food. That money that we used to purchase food could be going towards school expenses such as books But we have no other chose but to.

Campus Housing: Campus life is convenient during bad weathers and moments when classes begin at 8:30. There are various activities on campus, which makes it fun. However, the cafeteria food isn't too great. The food sometimes makes students sick. Also, students have witnessed rodents crawling around where we eat.

Majors: I don't have a concern on an internship right now, my job is related to my field.

3 College Senior

Administration: There should be more security around the campus and being watchful on who is coming on campus. There shouldn't be any reason why strangers are being let into buildings which we are paying tuition for.

Party Scene: Most people head over to frat row where 2 or 3 frats will be having a party. Others will head over to McGoverns, Nizis, or Kill Kennys.

2 College Senior

Athletics: There is very little school spirit at Rutgers Newark. Most people are commuters and go home after classes are over.

2 College Senior

Campus Food: The food around campus is pretty bad, Starbucks is usually my last resort and it is way too expensive for a college budget.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Class sizes aren't too big but there still isn't a personal relationship with the professor and his or her students. In all the classes I have taken, only one professor got to know my name.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: A degree from Rutgers is valued greatly. There are a lot of opportunities for internships but you have to be willing to find out on your own about them.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: The greeks do not really impact others. They aren't selective in who they date or what friends they have. Maybe of my close friends are greek and I am not greek myself.

1 College Junior

Party Scene: There is no party scene.

4 College Junior

Majors: The graduate nursing program is a great program, however finding clinical placements can be a challenge. I enjoy it, but tutition should be cheaper, not worth $700 per credit.

3 College Junior

Administration: Easy to park in the parking lot after business hours, no one really goes around to check for parking passes at night.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Most of the students in my school are working people with families that also go to school. Most people get along well during class time and study groups but there is very little interaction after that.

2 College Junior

Local Area: Not a good neighborhood, but good job opportunities in medical/health care careers.

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Mostly fast/junk food in the area. You have to prepare your own meals/snacks if you are interested in eating healthy.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Since the neighborhood is has a high crime rate, security is always present and always available. I have been asked on many occasions if I would like an escort to walk with me to my car, especially after dark.

3 College Junior

Athletics: For the Newark campus it not a big deal, however it is larger for the campus in New Brunswick.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: Once I was directed to the right website and what to fill out, it went smoothly. The financial aide tab in our university portal shows these large green check marks to let you know if everything has been done.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus. However I walk by the campus frequently. From the outside is looks clean and neat. It is a block away from the nursing school, the teaching hospital and the main library. However the neighborhood is not safe, there is a high crime rate, but if you are "street smart" you will be fine.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: its good during the day but once it gets dark there are no options really
