3 College Freshman

Technology: Nothing special but not a problem

3 College Freshman

Technology: Overall, Rowan's WiFi is decent. The computers available in the labs are out of date but they work just as well as any new ones. Printing is at a fair price plus students are given printing credits so it really isn't bad at all.

3 College Sophomore

Technology: Some of the computers are out of date and wireless can be slow

3 College Senior

Technology: I rarely use the campus computer since I have my own.

1 College Sophomore

Technology: Old computers, except one mac lab.

If you are an Internet fiend who is on your computer at all times, you might find yourself in a fix when the network goes down. But you can take solace in the fact that the network is hardly ever down at Rowan. Facebookers and Tweeters unite in the convenience of computers on campus. Oh yeah, and the academic researchers love it, as well. If you don’t have a computer, chances are you don’t fit into any of the previous categories, and that’s OK—it just means you’re more into reality as opposed to virtual reality.

For students who only need a computer every once in a while or only go online to complete their final paper, Rowan’s computer access is impressive. The Mimosa computer lab, located on the first floor of the Mimosa dorm, is a convenient alternative and is hardly ever filled with people, which means students can get in and get out. Other than Mimosa, there is a computer lab in almost every building to which students have access. When it comes time to print, a student’s Rowan ID card allows $15 of free printing in any of the computer labs. Each page costs 2 cents, so you will probably not have to pay for printing any time soon. Also, Rowan has a talented staff of computer tech personnel, so help is abundant if needed.
