3 College Freshman

Athletics: not much sport events during winter time but once winter is over the sports and activities are more popular

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Rosalind Franklin is a great school. They do a great job at balancing school with your outside life. All the faculty are easy to talk to and are always available. They truly care about every student. I would definitely choose this school again if I did it all over.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: People on campus love being involved in the IM sports and enjoy staying active. It is a very active community

4 College Junior

Technology: Everyone in class needs to have their own computer, as all notes and exams on on computers. However, if someone's computer is acting up during an exam, they can go to a lab and take it on a school computer. The school library also had computers to use and print from, but the printing is 10 cents a page.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Navy Housing is actually very close by and allows students to rent of them, so this is a great option. However, there are also some housing that students can find in rent in other areas close to the school.

4 College Junior

Parking: There is always free parking available to students; however, sometimes you have to walk a ways if all departments have class that day.

5 College Junior

Academics: The physical therapy department at my school is great. The curriculum is laid out well, the facilities are very nice, and the faculty is always available when you need them.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Campus is very small, and the security guard is alway around if you need him.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are the typical fast food chains off campus, but nothing great.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: There are a very local bars, but the bars in downtown chicago are much more fun.

2 College Junior

Weather: I go to school north of Chicago, so the winters are horrible. Lots of snow, and school occasionally gets canceled due to snow.

4 College Junior

Administration: Administration on campus is not very strict. I attend a graduate school, so underage drinking is not a problem, because everyone is over 21. The only thing that they are really strict about in the PT department in attendance.

5 College Sophomore

Technology: Your own computer is very important; however, the computer labs are always available for use and accommodate more than enough people.

3 College Junior

Majors: My program is well laid out. Some classes are recorded and you can go back and listen to them again. It is easy to get eTextbooks for classes which can save a lot of money and make studying easier. I do not have any concerns about finding a job. I am well prepared to take the national certifying exam and I have great real-world practical expereince.

4 College Junior

Diversity: The campus is very diverse racially, religiously, and LGBT. Diversity is accepted and celebrated. Clubs representing different groups put on activities such as plays, music, and ethnic food representation!

4 College Junior

Majors: An internship is unpaid and lasts 10 months however they are at top notch medical facilities in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta. The internship is 40 hours per week being exposed to every possible sample that you would incur in a job.

5 College Student

Health & Safety: I feel extremely safe here. There are security officers around and the walkways and parking lots are well-lit.

4 College Student

Party Scene: Since this is a graduate school, all the students are pretty serious and partying/going to bars is not a priority.

4 College Student

Campus Food: The options in the main dining area are somewhat limited, but they are delicious and healthy.
