Overall Experience: My time at Roosevelt was well spent. I was able to learn so much and grow as a person in an amazing city.

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: I got a job a month after graduating, and never had any problem landing internships while in school.

Campus Housing: The Wabash building is only a few years old and it's beautifully designed plus environmentally friendly!

3 Recent Alumnus

Greek Life: Greek life exists at Roosevelt, but it's probably not what you're expecting. The groups are all very diverse and welcoming, and most regularly participate in community service.

4 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: Athletics are still a relatively new part of Roosevelt, but they are there - and the facilities are incredible!

Overall Experience: If you're looking for a school were you can not only grow and learn academically, but be in a positive, supportive, social justice oriented environment, then Roosevelt University is probably the place for you. All of the professors not only care about helping you grow as a student and a learner, but as a person and a member of society as well.

Health & Safety: We do have security at the front desks of all 3 of our buildings, with an ID checking system that requires an ID coding that is a scanning system in two of the buildings. We do have many campus security personnel around campus, as well as cameras inside the newer building. However, once one steps outside there is no security but that of the Chicago PD and others, so one is really on their own once they step foot outside. The university publishes a safety record and there is a TEXT EMERGENCY Service that the entire school uses, including all students and all faculty and staff. Asking if I feel safe on campus, that is a solid yes, with the security and ID checking one would feel safe. However, as far as off campus that is a no, i do not really feel safe stepping out of the campus.

Overall Experience: A degree from here can be seen as a very well recognized one, however, with competing with other schools from the city it can be seen as challenging if you were to compare it to a University Of Chicago. That said, there is a solid amount of employment activities on campus and a great employment recruiting events throughout the year as well as throughout the city.

Overall Experience: The professors here are very diverse. You have a handful of very well educated professors from all over the globe, maybe from space? Very diverse as is the student body, so it is nice to see teachers of my skin color and connect to them on a closer level. They are very approachable, certain teachers seem very laid back and friendly so their classes seem more interactive and a better environment to learn. Class sizes can be a bit tricky, I have one where it seems like there is about 13 of us, and another where we are at capacity with 45 students and a small class room. There is a solid variety of courses to take, however, you have to get passed the general stuff first. Overall a great experience, and it is one that is well to learn in.

Overall Experience: One of my favorite experiences is just the college life. The campus and student body is great, it is very diverse and so is the staff. However, I am a commuting student so there is a great difference from me as a college student VS that of one that is dorming or living in the immediate area of the campus. So I do lack the real college feel, and I do lack the access to many of the schools services on the fact that I have a tough schedule to work around. Nonetheless, I do work my hardest every day and I make it all worth it.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Te windows are beautiful and the city is great

2 College Junior

Greek Life: They have some but nobody cares

3 College Junior

Athletics: The gym is pretty small and the sports people don't have a special seperate gym. Also it's not 24 hours

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel safe. There are machines that scan ids at all entrances aof the building. Suspicious people are pulled aside and cleared by security.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have already been invited to internship fairs hosted at the school and i am a freshman, first year student without any experience. Therefore i would say the school cares about it's student's success.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The work load of being a full time student in order to get more financial assitance is a huge burden. The professors give work double a week. Its exhausting. Although the course structure is well organized its is not a light one.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I have not visited dorms. Yet what i have seen has always been clean , security monitoring, environment is amazing helpful people everywhere.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Many classmates are athletes. Every 5 out of 15 are.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The school environment is nice and welcoming, but the cost over exceed the entire experience and being full time student is not easy neither is it cheap even with help. This seems to be a for profit school or is that just all universities? I am not sure.
