Overall Experience: When I made the decision to attend Roosevelt University, I didn't know what to expect. Coming from a small town in southern Illinois, I was nervous with anticipation on move in day. Little did I know, Roosevelt University has an extraordinary freshman orientation week. In this week, I learned to become comfortable with change. I think that my experiences during Roosevelt University's freshman orientation week have come to be my fondest memories of school.

Overall Experience: My favorite experience was when we opened the school's roof-top garden.

Overall Experience: I enjoy Roosevelt University and I am very happy with my decision. The school is downtown on a beautiful view and it is filled with spirits everywhere. Roosevelt is a great school that tackles social justice and is very diverse. I would not change one thing about my college experience.

Overall Experience: My school is doing a phenomenal job providing me with all of the information and resources I could possibly need. As a freshman I have been to 2 of the 3 orientations Roosevelt provides. I feel I am being set up to succeed.

Off-Campus Housing: Again it is all about connections when trying to find an off campus living space. The prices vary. If you want to live closer to the city it is a lot more pricier. If not then a 3 bedroom is about 450 each.

Party Scene: You really have to know people in order to go to parties. It's all about connections. You have to know people form nearby universities as well. But once you find people and a crowd there will never be a dull weekend!

Off-Campus Dining: The options for dining are endless! They're perfect!

Administration: Things are held under control very well at campus. Security guard are available 24/7. Alerts are sent via email on things that have happened near campus. RA's are very strict on drugs. Do not do it in the building go somewhere else!

Campus Food: The food has it's days. The quality is not the best. The prices are high but the dining halls are very spacious. Since the campus is located downtown there is a lot of places to eat and it is nice to have the option to go out instead of staying in and eating the same food everyday.

Scholarships: At the end I received the financial aid i needed, although there was a couple of bumps throughout the semester. Some of my scholarships and grants did not go through because student records had made a mistake on my account.

Campus Housing: The dorms are the right size for two people to live in. The social atmosphere is great for freshman but upper class do not like to socialize as much. Cost is very expensive for the quality of the food they provide. Convenience is perfect because it is right downtown of Chicago. Move-in process is very easy and smooth.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Depends on what you can find and what your looking for. Chicago has an option for every price range - but it might not be what you want or convenient to transit downtown.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: It mostly depends on who you know and what friend group you belong to. Most parties are off campus and happen around the city. If you know where to go there is always something fun to do, but if you hang with a crowd that prefers to stay in you might find it hard to network yourself in to the cities night life.

Off-Campus Dining: Chicago has a lot of great food. Some times expensive but well worth it. Only wish there were more late night options in downtown close to campus.

Administration: I have had good and bad experiences

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I have received good funding from the school. Many of my peers have had a lot of trouble with this however.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Pricey and not a lot of variety. Occasionally they make special meals which turn out to be quite nice.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: A little pricey. Overall a nice experience and in a great location downtown and close to class.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I have never applied for any of their scholarships so I am unware of this.

Campus Food: Overall Experience at Roosevelt University

This is a great school that is diverse and has great professors. The design of the school is nice and spacious. The food is okay, the pizza is the only thing I really eat here. The school is in a nice area surrounded by lots of restaurants and stores which are within good walking distance. Transportation is never an issue I take one bus and the train to get there from where I live.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: It is cheaper to live outside of downtown but within the city limits so you can take advantage of u-pass.

Off-Campus Dining: It's great since everything is within walking distance and if not, you can easily hop on the train or a bus and get there.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: As a private student, you would think that they would give more aid to their students but NO. Most of my aid comes from the government as loan and not the school.

Off-Campus Housing: There are tons of options for students to live off campus as long as you can get exempt from the required first two years on campus.
