2 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I have attended two different colleges before Rogue, I have not did not receive a large portion of my courses as transfer credit and had to take classes over again because they where called other things. it was pretty frustrating.

Online Courses: As someone that has high anxiety I love that there are online courses. It allows for me to participate and contribute to the group more easily

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I am saying "its okay" because its not something I've noticed as of yet because I am newly starting my AA

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I was originally in an independent study for high school due to sever anxiety, I wish the classes sizes where smaller, and its understandable why they aren't. there is such a demand for higher education, its necessary now to have a career not just a job

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am saying its okay because it isn't something I paid a lot of attention to with where I am at currently in my program. I am taking my first class towards my degree this Fall.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The teachers are so empathetic to their student problems. They want to see you succeed as much as you want to. You have to meet them half way! there are no free-rides, but who would want that?

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The finical aid councilors are amazing! so helpful. Especially Candace. She has been with me every step of the way helping me get back into school

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: Nutrition and Dietetics are both hard programs to come by if you're not at the right school. Rogue Community College offers prerequisites and many classes that opens the doorway for my attendance at a University. I have received all the necessary help and tools that allow my future success. Although the community college doesn't offer my major or the programs, it allows me to gain experience, grow as a student, and overall get ready for the next big steps in my life at a University.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Rogue Community College offers three different campus' in the Rogue Valley. This is extremely helpful and beneficial for people who struggle with transportation and financial challenges. All three campuses are in completely different settings, so you can decide which works best for you. I have never faced any problems with any RCC faculty or students. You meet new people everyday, which also helps make the experience great. I wouldn't change anything about my school, other than maybe free food for all. I mean who doesn't like free food? On a serious note, RCC has worked for everyone I have met here and a big plus to attending a community college is the amount you will be saving.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have really great professors. The class time sometimes are 50 min. and that isn't enough time for certain classes. My math professor has a routine straight from the math book and if I would have know from the start I would have chosen another professor or took the class on line. The math professor wasn't really helpful to me. There are a wide variety of class to chose from. The class sizes are pretty small for the most part.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: My specific major is a medical assistant. The counselors didn't explain to me how the program worked, but other students did. Then after many questions and learning who I need to talk to specifically about the program was I put on the correct path. The workload is kind of overwhelming for a first year college student. There are some postings for internships/jobs, but I have not applied.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: For being a community college in a small area this college is doing great! They require a couple of courses re college success which has helped understand how things work or where to go.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: my school experience has been great. everything is close, they gave me a easy schedule to figure out, my classes are next to each other so that was really nice. and so far so good.

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: I feel like everyone has been really helpful. people are friendly and caring. I have had no problems adjusting into college and I have not been in a classroom environment in over 10 years

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: this is my first term so I cant really tell you how my teachers are because I still have not been able to really get to know them yet. but so far they seem really nice and helpful with all my questions that I may of had. and I noticed that if someone don't quiet fully understand something, then that instructor wont leave the table until they have answered their question

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: my dream in life is too become a substance abuse counselor/mentor. I do believe that its all about giving back into our community and making Oregon a safe place to be. I believe that people that get out of prison that suffer from a disease called addiction deserve a second chance at life. and theirs tons of resources out their for them and I want to help them obtain and utilize those resources in order for them to become a success. because its all about beating statistics.

I have worked at the union gospel mission as a food server. to help serve my community. its all about giving back to me today, because you cant keep what you have, unless you give it away

Overall Experience: The culture at Rogue Community college is great. People go out of their way to assist everyone. The faculty is knowledgeable and they don't let you fall into the abyss of knowledge. All of the courses I have taken here have been noteworthy in their concepts and information that has been provided.
