3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I wouldn't want to live off-campus, but some apartments seem too far away.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are many different restaurants, but some are costly.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: The RA's are fairly strict about parties.

3 College Freshman

Administration: They are very helpful when you need them.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: The scholarships that I received were great and very beneficial.

2 College Freshman

Campus Food: Burpee food can be better, with more food options.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The halls are fail clean, and well kept.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have never heard of or had any issues with health or safety. I feel relatively safe on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I did receive a fairly large scholarship, but tuition increased and my scholarship did not. I pay for the rest of my tuition with loans. I have had trouble with a bunch of little fees for random things, and that was seriously annoying.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I do think a majority of students here are participating in the few sports we offer. I know many athletes, and they're all like family to each other.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are some really nice restaurants down town or on the Northeast part of town. Directly around the school there is just mostly fast food.

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: Some parts of town are awesome, and even some of the surrounding areas, but there are definitely bad parts of the city.

1 College Freshman

Scholarships: nonexistent unless you are an athlete. the school is expensive one scholarship is not enough.

1 College Freshman

Administration: Many of the administration do leave and look for other work, just as the kids transfer and drop-out.

5 College Junior

Academics: The faculty is amazing and helpful.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: I don't stay on campus.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: I need to meet more people.

3 College Senior

Party Scene: There is quite a few different bars/ restuarants to go to in Rockford. There's everything from your normal corner bar to district, murphys, tilted kilt etc. There's a bar to suit almost anyone's style.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: Make sure you are on top of everything and fill out all the paperwork you can before hand, arrive early and if it is your first year take your parent/ guardian with you to make sure no one messes anything up and you know what to expect for next semester/year. also, make sure you double check everything!

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: depending on your major, course load and living situation, your experience can vary. Rockford is small campus, so I felt right at home coming from a small town. While living on campus, you can barely tell you are living in the city because it is quiet, for the most part.

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: coming from a social services major, it is really hard to find internships locally.

4 College Senior

Diversity: there's a vast diversity amongst the student body. You'll meet people from all walks of life, political/ religious positions and different origins. Holistically, the student body is very friendly and welcoming towards all.

3 College Senior

Local Area: there's a wide variety of things to do if you have the means of transportation.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I didn't live on campus but one of my friends did and her hall wasn't the cleanest and dorms are small

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: We have a lot of options from McDonald's to steakhouses
