Greek Life

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: The chapters sometimes put on social events, which are fun. There isn't really a way to tell who is part of Greek life and who isn't, and I haven't seen any discrimination.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life seems to host many events on campus but you will not be shamed for not joining one

Greek Life: Unfortunately, this school does not have every Fraternity and Sorority. Therefore if you wanted to join a specific fraternity or sorority that this school did not have, you would have to pick another one or try to create that specific chapter on the campus, which is a lot of work. With all that said, the Greek life on campus is very fun and vibrant. If you are not apart of Greek life you will not be treated negatively in any way. I am not aware that this campus Greek housing on campus or off campus. The most exciting thing about Greek life for Greek students and non- Greeks is the Greek games, which is very fun to participate in and watch.

College Freshman

Greek Life: It doesn't really affect life on campus.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: There are some fraternities on campus that are known for their parties, but every campus has frats like that. The sororities are more concerned with making a difference in the community and raising money for their philanthropies.

RMU's Greek life is definitely not as big as at other schools, but it is still a part of the RMU landscape. Though some students at RMU may be indifferent or even negative toward Greek life, that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist or thrive. Some say that RMU isn't the right type of school for Greek life, but if you were to ask any student who is a part of RMU Greek life, they will tell you that it is a great experience for students, especially with the benefits of doing so much for both the school and the community.

RMU's Greek life is pretty active, with events, activities, and organizations throughout the school year. Greek life members can live in the Greek suites for each fraternity and sorority. Simply enough, Greek life at RMU has come a long way, and it is definitely a tight-knit group.
