3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Sports here are decent. Was able to graduate from here. Had to figure it out on my own because counselors make you take so many extra classes. Not many activities as a school go on here. Nice library. Nice gym.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Flexible schedule. Able to add all the classes I needed. Early registration is the best. Transferring credits is easy. Better if you do it online, dont do it through mail it takes way longer.

3 College Senior

Career Services: The transfer center is very hidden. The counselors only have about 25 minutes to spend with a student which i feel is not enough time.

Overall Experience: My biology, anatomy, physiology and chemistry by far were the best professors I had at Rio Hondo. They challenged me in every possible way. They offer many courses at Rio Hondo. The average class size was 30 students I would say.

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: Many students dont graduate from Rio Hondo. Coaches, professors and counselors i feel do a very bad job in getting the students to graduate. The internships are kind of a waste of time here .

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: There is a internship for my major (Athletic training) but most of the time Its just waiting around. Dont really learn new things daily. Classes i feel are not very challenging.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Some professors are laid back and some want you to do everything. Workload ranges from none to late nights. Curriculum depends on what you are taking. Facilities are okay. Internships are meh.

4 College Junior

Career Services: You can call them to make a appointment or enter there to make one. You take tests to see what is your personality, habits, and other test to see what career fits you.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The more classes you have the more work students have. Some classes required students to do more in class and outside of class.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: My experience has showed me that professors are slow to respond or do not respond. Some topics are seen as trivial. The workload depends on the professor. The registration process is probably the only good part. Peer-to-peer interaction does not exist.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school is great. If students want anything. Students have to ask questions. Students need to meet counselors to make sure they are on the right track.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: the teachers are what make it great.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The teachers are great, they really do care about your situation and want everyone to succeed and will take the extra time to talk to you one on one to work on your area of weakness. The one thing that i dislike about this campus is the food options are hideous the cafeteria is a burger joint they have no verity of health foods. It would be great if the campus can support some healthier food choices to improve the health of its students instead of fast food burgers, chicken tenders, and fries.

3 College Senior

Career Services: I do not know much on this.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: The school is not impacted so adding classes was simple. The class sizes were not to big. Enough people were in a classroom not too much.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Professors offer tutoring jobs after the course is done,

5 College Senior

Online Courses: We are able to quickly interact with the professors as well as students. It is easy to manage and it is also easy to get ahead of the schedule just in case something will prevent you from doing it in the future.

3 College Senior

Career Services: I do not know much on this topic.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors seem to be passionate about the curriculum they are teaching.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I am glad I chose to study at Rio Hondo because of how small and friendly the environment is. I became comfortable quickly because of the amount of help that is offered.

2 College Freshman

Career Services: Other than the police academy, there is no networking among the students.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The class sizes are outstanding. Usually it is 30-40 students per class which is similar to high school. The professors are very friendly and want you to succeed.

3 College Freshman

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: It is very intriguing for every major class you take at Rio Hondo. I believed I learned a accumulating amount of information to step even further to my college goal.
