Off-Campus Housing: I'm not the best person to answer this question due to the fact that I live at home, but from what I know, I can say that cost is usually the biggest concern and issue with off campus housing as well as convenience. OASIS at RIC would probably be the best place to go for guidance about off campus housing.

Off-Campus Housing: I dont know what it is like to live near school.

Off-Campus Housing: there are a lot of bad areas around campus

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Parking is usually a difficult situation for off-campus housing. Safety depends on the neighborhood, but typically students would stay indoors at night or travel in groups. Off-campus housing is definitely cheaper than living on campus, as with many other institutions. Proximity varies though most is relatively close to the RIC campus.

Off-Campus Housing: If you go to RIC or PC, most juniors and seniors will rent apartments off campus. The place to be is eaton street, pembroke, and the surrounding streets. There's constant parties every single weekend. This is why everyone wants to live in this area, because it's all parties. However, if you want an apartment in this area, you need to start looking a year in advance. It's very popular, and because of the high demand the prices can be pretty high.
