Greek Life: I have not had an extremely close view of the Greek life but it seems pretty okay. there are around 3 frats/sororities at RIC and they are always contributing to helping the student body.

Greek Life: I am not part of Greek life on my campus, however I know some people who are and they are very proud to be in their organization. I think the Greeks do a great job with helping in our community and that they do great things around campus. My school only has seven Greek organizations, so we are rarely small compared to what I am used to. There are no Greek houses on campus, however, there are houses off campus that multiple people within an organization live together. I feel as if on my campus Greeks are viewed as regular students. One thing I have noticed with living on campus, is most people just go about their own business and do not have much of an opinion over what others are doing. That is the reason I believe most non-Greeks do not have much of an opinion on whether someone is participating in Greek life of not.

Greek Life: I am currently in a sorority and it is the best thing I have done here at RIC. Everyone in the greek life is so welcoming and friendly. We volunteer and raise money for many organizations and participate in numerous events at RIC. The one thing that is mainly encouraged in my sorority is academics. At Rhode Island College, there are no greek housing since it is not allowed by the college. Although there are no housing available, we still meet in our offices where we can go to relax and hang out.
