Student Body: Friendly people who are at school to get the job done

2 College Senior

Academic Experience: The campus was small and the teachers did not seem to be very focused.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The general classes were not very detailed with my specific major

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: Most of the the printer did not work and their was not many computers in the LEC

Campus Resources: The facilities on campus are wonderful. We have a gym, an aquatic center, a student center, a library, a north and south oasis where students can go to study or mingle, a baseball field, and a frisbee golf course. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love that this school offers us such great facilities to use as we please.

Student Body: Most of the students here at Rend Lake College are kind, smart, hard-working students. I've really enjoyed my classmates thus far. There have been a few students that I didn't like because they were loud and distracting during class time, but for the most part I've had wonderful classmates. They're very creative, intelligent, and happy-go-lucky. It's been a pleasure to be here.

Career Services: I haven't yet graduated and gone on to find a job. But I know a few of my friends have great jobs after leaving Rend Lake College. I hope to have the same luck.

Academic Experience: The instructors that I have had have been very involved with the students and want us to succeed. I have only had one teacher who acted like she didn't care. But, I've learned that not all teachers are the same and even though they may not act like it, they still want the best for you.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have had quite a few issues with the financial aid office. The student workers can be very rude, and that tends to be very irritating.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I love my classes. This is my second year in the LPN program, but this year I am much more motivated and I know what to expect. My teachers are great. They are very knowledgeable and try to explain the information to the best of their ability. Sometimes, the studying can be overwhelming, but what else can you expect with a nursing major?

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Rend Lake College uses an amazing website allowing students to get in contact with administration and counselors at any time. Being able to e-mail and text someone questions is a great resource.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Taking the dual credit classes are an amazing privilege and I am blessed to be able to have the option. The teachers understand that I am still enrolled in high school and are very easy going when it comes to when work is scheduled.

Career Services: Currently being enrolled in high school and college at the same time I have already received a great deal of help from alumni and other services to help me reach my goal after my schooling. Knowing my services are going above and beyond is very pleasing. Still being in high school has its disadvantages but our post-grad services are extremely helpful.

Academic Experience: I am going for radiolgy program, and it is a challenge.I thought it would be easier than what it is. Entering college I have had most of my generals done so I have not been having too many classes, but the ones I have are challenging. I have some electives that I do not need for my major, but it is nice to have a little break. I love all of my classes. They are so much fun.

Academic Experience: All of my teachers that I have are all great. They participate with each and everyone one of us. They answer all the questions we have, and understand all of us. It is great being in a community college because I get this realationship with all my teachers that I normally would not have. It is a great feeling to know if I have a problem with my assignment or if I do not understand any of the lesson that day that i know my teacher's will always be there to help me with my needs. I am thankful for this oppurtunity.

Overall Experience: Hard, Yet Manageable – Some classes were not how I expected, yet others I ended up liking. I might choose my school again in the future for the cheap tuition, the ease of being near home and the one-on-one help you can get from instructors.

Academic Flexibility: Convenient When Needed – Of course, my school doesn't always have what I want, yet it has what I need. I have almost always managed to make a flexible schedule each semester I have went here. The only frustrations I have had with is the attendance, science classes, and the amount of assignments we have had to do. Other than that, it seems that I should move on to my university without any trouble and be closer to my degree.

Academic Experience: Awesome Program – I'm studying ag mechanics and I like that there is freedom to choose my own projects. I enjoy most of my class. Most classes are relevant to my course study

Tuition & Financial Aid: You Have to Believe, to Achieve – I wasnt elgible for finacial aid but I took out a student loan that covers my school tuition. The money thats paying for school is worth every bit of it.Knowing that I have to pay back the student loan, I have to make the best grades as possible so that when i'm out of school I will have a good career and the loans I took out would be payed for. I believe the education here is awesome!

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I love my school. The teachers are extremely helpful and are very lenient as far as working around my personal and work schedules. I rarely attend any school functions, but the ones I have attended have been fun and upbeat.

Campus Resources: So Great – There are numerous computers in the library which has a lot of books and information. The student center is comfortable and since there are two there is always plenty of room. We are well informed about campus activities but since I have to commute I am not able to engage in many activities.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have been able to work easily with my financial aid office workers. They are very helpful.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Computer Labs – You have to pay for your copies and the laps are all ways nice and quite so you can study. If you need something the works will help.
