Academic Flexibility: I had general courses that I had taken previously from another institution that all transferred.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I LOVE the online aspect of this program! It allows for flexibility so I can work wherever and whenever I need to!

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love the small class sizes and the student to instructor ratio. I have 7 people in one of my labs and 8 in my other lab! This really allows for my instructors to get to know me on a personal level which really enhances my experience. I also love that the majority of my first part of the program is online. Like mentioned in a previous question, I have a baby girl, working full time while attending, which really allows for my schedule to by flexible.

Overall Experience: Having a degree in Nursing from Rasmussen will allow me to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse! Having clinical sites in a 100 mile radius from campus allows for learning new avenues of healthcare, meeting potential future employers and giving students opportunities to get educated in different sectors.

Academic Experience: Unique aspects include the majority of the first part of the program to be online. This is one of the main reasons I chose Rasmussen as my college of choice. I have a baby girl and work full time so having the majority of the classes online really helps accommodate family, work and school.

Overall Experience: I am currently enrolled in the ADN program and looking forward to starting in July! So far, my admission process and financial aid process has been very exceptional! The staff does anything and everything they can to accommodate and answer all of your questions. They are very supportive and encourage you in everything for your career dreams!

Online Courses: I have enjoyed learning with the on line classes. I thought it is designed well. After getting use to the way things are set up for this type of environment, I appreciated the set up with the many learning options from the library and other source with ease.

Overall Experience: While some teachers were exceptional and others decent, I learned that there are different teaching styles even with on line classes. My HIM teacher put in extra effort to be supportive and encouraging. This helped a lot with it being my first semester.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I received great support and direction during my application process.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: I love how I was challenge to re-enforce my learning through study review and test practices that were made available. This helped a lot.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I was really surprised of how helpful, genuine, and caring the staff was in helping get through the application process as well as getting me off on the right foot for a great learning experience. I would recommend this college to anyone.

Campus Resources: Instructors are always willing to assist and are very knowledgeable in their field. Downside is there is no librarian on-campus anymore, just online.

Career Services: Jeff, in career services, is the greatest! He helped me with my cover letters and resume. He also helps us to find jobs and gives us interview training to land our jobs. You can tell he really cares about what he does and is very willing to go above and beyond to help a student.

Academic Experience: Im in the ADN program, or professional nursing (RN). Nursing in general is extremely intense and takes a lot of time for studying and homework. We have a variety of clinical/lab and lecture classes, and our teachers are all very experienced in their field.

Academic Experience: Rasmussen is a career oriented school. So the main goal is to get people a good education and into their career goal as fast as possible. All the staff are very friendly, and really show that they care about their students. Our schedules are made for us, if we do have a general ed class then we will be given a choice of classes but otherwise our whole career at the school is planned out and scheduled from the beginning.

Student Body: Most of the people I have met at school are pretty awesome. I've met a couple people that still act like they are in high school; but for the most part I feel like everyone gets along most of the time.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Upfront it seems like Rasmussen is really expensive because most fees and books are all included right into the tuition, but if you compare it to another university and add up all the costs, in the long run the university is more expensive. I found the financial aid process to be much easier at Rasmussen because the adivisors pretty much take care of it for you.

Overall Experience: Overall I do enjoy my education at Rasmussen. I feel like I am learning more there then at other schools I have attended. The classes are more intensive and the teachers really care whether or not you are doing well and always try to help struggling students when possible.

Online Courses: For the most part I really enjoy the online classes. Personally I think having to do discussion posts are worthless especially when you have to respond to other students' responses; I know most students will just pull stuff out of their bum. I never really learn anything from them either. I like that online classes allow for flexibility and the ability to do the classes on your own time.

Academic Flexibility: The program I am in is a set schedule and will not work with personal schedules. The students have to arrange their personal schedule around the school schedule. It is frustrating because it makes it hard for a single parent, but at the same time I understand because it is a full time degree and its for nursing, so the things that need to be learned are very specific.

Academic Experience: So far everything has been very smooth!

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: My academic experience at Rasmussen has been great so far! I'm being stretched and challenged, but at a pace I can handle and enjoy.
