Academic Flexibility: Raritan Valley has made my experience of becoming a student again a pleasant and simple experience. I decided to go back to school in the beginning of a year which is the middle of a school year. I was certain I would not have been able to start classes until the following school year, however the staff at Raritan valley made it a priority to have me attend classes that semester. All of my previous credits were transferred with ease and I was set on a track to achieve my goal the fastest. Oppurtunities that are provided on campus make my time at rartian very pleasant an enjoyable. Flexibiliy, a extremely important factor, was acknowledged numerous times by the staff and the professors. Overall I am happy with my decision to go to Raritan valley.

Online Courses: Communication is great during online courses. it is convenient for me to access and do all of my assignments an also to learn easily.

Career Services: Often there are e-mails in my mailbox informing me of all the job opportunities that are open to me. Also the staff and faculty are very quick to respond if I have any questions or need guidance in my career options.

Overall Experience: Professors are extremely inviting and caring. To have a feeling that someone who barely knows you wants to help you succeed in your educational journey is a weight off a students shoulder.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school is constantly sending flyers and e-mails of updated career paths and opportunities. It is very helpful to try and get a job in your career path.

Academic Experience: I am a nursing student. I have not attended clinicals yet but my professors to up to know have exposed me to many things that will help me be successful in the program. They also have an awesome transfer program to Kean university that is right on campus at Rvcc. The head of the nursing department is an amazing lady who is very helpful and very good at helping us succeed and stay on the oft track to achieve goals.

Overall Experience: I really enjoy Raritan valley. I love that I feel a comfort level with all my professors as if they want to be my friend. They care for my success and give me many opportunities to really master a class. Also they are very responsive and accommodating to a students needs. Such as answering e-mails as soon as possible. Overall good experience. And much less expensive then attending a 4 year college. The nursing program has an wonderful

transfer program which I hope to take full advantage of.

Career Services: There are job opportunities at the school

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: There is a lot of help. I stay after school and get help form teacher and students

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: There are a lot of job applications and there is a lot of recycle.

Academic Experience: As a Fine Art student, it's difficult because Raritan Valley community doesn't have a big art program. So the program is ok but not great. And what I mean by that is the art material and the attitude towards it is somewhat sad. Espasially when a caring professor with a huge passion for the arts is being paid not so well.

Overall Experience: My experiences were okay because I still feel like I'm in high school. The only time I feel like I have a college experience is when having certain classes; I can sense the professor's passion. Which was great but then there are times where the professors are there for the money and not for our education.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Class sizes are moderate and some professors are good. I wish there was better classes to pick from when it comes to electives.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall experience was okay but nothing great. My first semester was the worst but things got better as I approached spring and summer classes.

Academic Flexibility: Class schedules aren't always flexible. Register as soon as you can.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: It can be good if you plan on going to local college. But am not sure about out of state opportunities.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Many professors do not care about the students but some do but they are very far and in between. Class sizes can range from moderate to large. I wish better elective classes were available to students than what currently exists.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The school environment is ok but nothing fantastic. This school isn't quite an incredible value but is still better than most. My first semester was the worst but things continued to get better into the spring. I took a summer class and was satisfied with the course and professor. Overall on okay experience.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The workload is moderate as per most majors at this school. I feel that the curriculum needs to be revised and updated due to the fact that there are too many required classes that are not even relevant to the specific major.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall I like the school because it allows me to live and work locally, however some procedures can be made difficult to complete or just be a waste of time. Some professors are good but I personally feel that sometimes the bad onnes outweigh the good ones. I would only choose this school again due to the fact of it being local.

Overall Experience: the value of the degree from RVCC is great. students have transferred to ivy league schools and have gone on to great things. as a student, i think that you have to make the most out of your experience at any college. many students at rvcc are there to make the most out of it, while some are there because they believe they need to be in college for some reason. it is often a strange mix of students in each class because some are there to save money and some are there because they didnt do well in high school.

Academic Experience: My major is business administration. i have had a lot of help in picking out the right classes and professors to help make the transition from a two to four year university smooth.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: My overall experience at RVCC has been great. I didnt have great grades in high school and i was able to get recommended to be a supplimental instructor because i impressed one of my professsors. it is opportunities like this that you cannot get at a large four year university. if you are uunsure of your major or are simply wanting to go away to school because you feel like you need to get away from home, trust me, RVCC is not that bad. you will find your way there and have a lot of help from great professors along the way. after you are done you will be very glad that you did it.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The college is okay, food may be decent, but it ha good opportunities to work on campus even as a college student and has different opportunities to join multiple clubs

Academic Flexibility: Courses fill up very quickly even though I got the earliest transfer day I was not able to register for some things I need. Other courses conflict with my job.
