College Sophomore:What makes my school so unique is its diversity that is represented within the community. I've experienced already an abundant amount of different insights, organizations and paths. As I have been working towards my academic life, i am still able to balance out my social activity by joining clubs, networking with professional organizations and undergraduate pipelines. My freshman year has been a blast and looking forward to my second year at The University of Washington.

College Senior:Good Campus, new facilities. Not much around the campus to do but Spokane has much to offer for activities. The school has many clubs to join and be a part of. Tuition is a little high but it is worth it. I believe this school has a respected name and much to offer compared to other schools in the state. Professors are willing to work with you and have done so much work worldwide.

    Seattle Pacific University

    • Seattle, WA
    • 929 reviews
College Sophomore:I absolutely love my major and so far the course required by it. I have run into the issue of many professors not being as traditional as l had expected. One case was a professor who insisted that God was a woman (I attend a private Christian university). The same professor required us to purchase her personal books she had written even though there was no correlation to the course work. Other than this experience, I have enjoyed my first year very much.

    Seattle University

    • Seattle, WA

College Sophomore:Overall, I did not expect to learn as much as I have at Seattle University. I love the college and most importantly, because the mission is to educate the whole person, I have been able to gain experiences outside of the classroom which I will hold with me for years to come. I love being a part of my community and knowing my neighbors very well. The campus community is very friendly and loving and I know I am safe on campus. I believe although I have had ups and downs on campus, my overall experience has been pretty great!

    Western Washington University

    • Bellingham, WA

College Junior:Freshman year was a bit of a rocky start -- I don't think dorm life was for me. But as I made more friends, began living off campus and exploring more of the city around the university, the more I enjoyed college life. Balancing classes with work and a social life became less stressful as I eased into classes for my degrees. After the general requirements, I was ecstatic to take the classes I not only wanted to take, but needed for my specific programs. I've gotten to know many of my professors on a more friendly and relaxed level, which in turn makes my classes much more entertaining. My classmates are more familiar in my programs, and I feel more and more accomplished with each course as I work towards my graduation goals. Not only did I learn to appreciate how beautiful and eccentric the city I now live in is, but I also learned to appreciate the university I attend, and well it's setting me up for post-college life.

    Pacific Lutheran University

    • Tacoma, WA
    • 808 reviews
College Junior:I've been given a lot of really great opportunities at my school that I wouldn't have received elsewhere. The one thing that I do not like about my school is how they handle scholarships (they do not stack a lot of scholarships provided by donors or merit achievement scholarships from the school, and the ones that now stack are not being stacked for students who came in before the policy changed. It is a huge financial burden on students who are trying to pay for school themselves and end up taking out large amounts in student loans to cover what they cannot). If my scholarships from my school stacked I wouldn't need to take any additional loans.

    University of Washington - Tacoma

    • Tacoma, WA
    • 331 reviews
College Junior:One of the greatest things about University of Washington Tacoma is the downtown urban vibe. It feels as if you are in a large city, but still has the neighborhood feel. The culturally diverse student body is what makes this campus unique.

    Saint Martin's University

    • Lacey, WA
    • 373 reviews
College Junior:I love the academics. I haven't had any issues with my professors so far, they're all great in their own way. The curriculm is good. The registration process can be a bit annoying and I don't think it is explained well. Also, I never know what classes are being offered each semester because although there is a course listing, it seems out of date and many classes are no longer offered while current classes aren't on their either. So, I feel like I miss out on what could be great classes. The workload is horrible, it just seems like a college level workload; it all depends on the class and the class level, not to mention the professor.

    University of Washington - Bothell

    • Bothell, WA
    • 428 reviews
College Freshman:The small campus means small class sizes, so the classes are more personal and engaging. All of my professors know me by name and have ample time to help me through any curricular struggles. The Quantitative Skills Center is also always available and usually very helpful in studying and solving difficult homework problems.

College Sophomore:It's a great school overall. The computer science program is just massively underfunded and the professors there are really hit and miss. The Japanese and math programs are great though.

    Eastern Washington University

College Senior:Some of the teachers are poor, but some are amazing. Some classrooms and buildings are old and in need of modernization, but the school is working on it. Some buildings are very modern and nice such as Patterson Hall, Senior Hall, and the Library. I love being in the Library; there are a lot of helpful resources, and it is a friendly and welcoming environment.Size of classes are perfect. Science accommodations are top of line, and the Science Building itself is my favorite building and definitely one of the most inviting.

College Sophomore:School by itself is not so bad, classes vary by the strictness of the professor. The daily life is subpar though, there is simply not very much to do aside from school and going to the gym. People are nice, generally decent looking.
