3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: There is usually a good mix or guys and girls in the social scene. Every one kind of just sticks with people they know though. Every one is kind of just average.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Really nothing special to report here honestly, you'll find who you find.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: social life is good if you join clubs and make an effort to get involved and attend on and off campus activities

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: lots of people are closed minded since they're all of the same ethnicity and social class but you come across a few really cool people that are different and easy to get along with

2 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: It is very hard to find someone that is not judgmental, and doesn't have unrealistic expectations. Girls here aren't even really pretty (inside and out).

Ramapo College has a nearly 70-to-30 percent ratio of female to male students, though a fair portion of that percentage includes students that do not live on campus. Students usually attempt to establish a large group of friends early on in their career at Ramapo, and then gradually weed down to a smaller group that they will stick with more closely throughout the rest of their college experience. Because of the ratio between female and male students, much of the dating scene goes on off campus.

The student body as a whole cannot be divided into “sexually promiscuous” or “reserved," because as a whole, the student body is made up of individuals. These individuals can be very different in their personal beliefs, and what some students consider "promiscuous" or "reserved" can be wildly separate from what others think. Additionally, each of these students may change their opinions on these ideas, especially after spending time at Ramapo. Ultimately, it depends on the individual—if students are looking to be promiscuous, they can definitely find other students who are looking for the same thing.
