Charlotte offers so many opportunities for a person to explore. It doesn't matter if you're an outdoor person or a museum-lover because there's plenty to do. The parks are amazing and the weather usually cooperates for my bike rides. There are several malls within a few miles of the university, and lots of shopping nearby. A new grocery store was recently built that we can walk to. The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is a few miles from away, as well as numerous other satellite colleges like Wake Forest. It's definitely a college town!

There are a lot of malls, parks, places to go visit and hang out. There are a lot of restaurants and the campus is very close to the downtown area. There is always something to do in Charlotte, whether it be taking a walk to visiting museums or even going to a Panthers or Bobcats game! It's all here in the city and close to campus! It's a safe environment and everything is quite peaceful here.

Charlotte has it all! Pro football, basketball and hockey. Lots of great entertainment comes to Charlotte and there are several venue's. Everyone is welcoming to students and helpful with directions. Shopping (lol) second to none.
