Off-Campus Housing: I don't know too much about it.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I didn't go to parties.

Scholarships: It was difficult to get to talk to someone.

Campus Food: Its usually good. The cheapest and easiest thing is pizza.

Off-Campus Housing: There aren't a whole lot of options are available but there are some and they're nice.

Off-Campus Dining: It's just your standard fast food chains. There isn't really anything special.

4 Recent Alumnus

Administration: It's a small campus but there are still pretty easy going about letting students do what they want.

Scholarships: In order to get the right amount of financial aid you need to be proactive and make things happen for yourself. Don't be afraid to go talk to people.

Party Scene: There are a lot of parties going on a the apartment complex across the streets. It gets pretty loud. The cops have been called out there on multiple occasions.

Campus Food: There is no meal plan as it is a small campus. In the cafeteria though you can get salads, sandwiches, pizza, etc.

Campus Housing: It is a small campus and as of now there are no dorm rooms. However, there are apartment buildings across the street that were built specifically for students. Those are pretty nice, but a little expensive.

Health & Safety: The school sees sexual assault as a very serious crime and tries it's best to reduce the occurrence of it. There is even a free woman's defense course offered with the sole purpose being getting away from or debilitating an attacker.

Party Scene: There are usually parties happening every weekend, but they are mostly invite only or limited to the sports teams.

Academics: The courses aren't overly heavy, and the professors understand that we have lives outside of the classroom that sometimes has to come first. There are free tutoring services available to all students and special disabilities proctoring available for any student that find them necessary.

Off-Campus Housing: We have the apartments across from campus which are considered 'off-campus' but most students consider them to be 'on-campus'. As for actual off campus housing, there are departments that assist with them, but I have had no interactions with them. However, the school does advertise the apartments across from campus, and if anyone knows of any for rent they are free to post about them on bulletin boards and on the online posting area.

Majors: I would like to have an internship later on in my studies, but at this time it is not possible. My only concern with finding an internship is that there will be a limited number for my degree field in the area around campus.

Overall Experience: The class sizes are smaller, which is nice because you feel as though your professor gets to know you better. When the classes are larger, the professors still make sure that you know you can talk to them if you have any issues. There are lots of courses offered, and over a wide variety of topics. Be that as it is, there are some things lacking, in the different degrees that are offered. It would be nice to have more options about them, but it's understandable with such a small campus to not have an over whelming number.

Overall Experience: The school holds a career fair every few months with at least 20-30 prospective employers from the area at each one, and there are a number of services available to help students with gaining jobs. There are services and workshops on how to: build a resume, gain an apprenticeship, find a suitable career, and more. Plus the campus offers different events to assist with other parts of the career search including: how to dress, how to dine, and how to put yourself out there for employers. I can honestly say that the school does all it can to assist us in gaining our future careers.

Campus Food: The cafeteria has a wide selection of food choices, and they open early enough for students to get breakfast before 8 a.m. classes. Each day there is a new 'lunch' and if you aren't feeling up to that they have a wide variety of choices from the grill and from the ice box. They can get a bit repetitive if you are dining on campus everyday, but not very many people do.

Athletics: While the campus tries it's best to push the sporting events and teams, not many of the students are interested. We are mostly a commuter campus, so many people come for their classes and leave. As such, I feel as though they have less time to dedicate to being sports fans. That being said, there are still a number of people that take pride in our teams and go to every game of the season.

Off-Campus Dining: The actual town surrounding the campus has limited dining options, but that is due to it being a smaller town. However, less than ten minutes in any direction will take you to one of the surrounding towns, all of which have a plethora of dining options. In regards to vegetarian and vegan options, the campus it's self actual makes sure to have some of both available to students each day, and the markets around town have plenty for students that are wanting to cook for themselves. That being said, there are a very limited number of options for dining out on the town, but as long as they read carefully, they can find something at any restaurant. With the late night dining, we really only have three places that are open after 3 am; Denny's, iHop, and Steak & Shake.

Campus Housing: The apartments are really well kept, and the maintenance team takes care of everything from leaky faucets to burnt out light bulbs. Campus police do rounds at night so you feel safe walking around, and since the school is literally across the street it is really easy to walk to/from classes. Rent is a bit higher than in the surrounding areas, but with most utilities included, and the perks of the location, it's definitely worth the couple extra bucks.

Local Area: The towns around campus have everything that students need for their daily lives. Some things that are lacking, are the limitations of College aged nightlife attractions, and that there is no public transportation in the actual city where the college is. Other than that, it is a really good area, the people of the towns around don't treat the students any differently that anyone else, and there are lots of part time jobs available for students that are looking.
