Athletics: PUC has a competent athletics program for students.

Health & Safety: The campus really cares about its safety.

Academics: The Academics at PUC are challenging but manageable.

Campus Housing: Living on campus is really nice. Its gives you the chance to gain your own independence, and your more able to focus. At Purdue Calumet, we have our university village. Its a medium sized quiet housing. Its 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and common area, as well as 4 bathroom sinks. What I like the most is that you get your own space to yourself. You also get free cable and free WiFi. There is a lot of activities you can do in housing as well. We have movie nights, late night snacks, free pancakes, and much more. The cost of living in housing is very reasonable compared to other campuses. Its around $5,000 for fall and spring semester, and $6,000 for fall, spring, and summer.

Athletics: We have a lot of students who are involved in our sports at Purdue. There are currently 12 teams at our university, and they continue to grow every year. Our teams perform immaculately everytime they play. Every person on every team puts their heart in every game. There is nothing but passion, and love on our teams. The fans are very supportive of their favorite teams. Most of our games are filled to capacity because of the loyal students and their school spirit that they bring to every game. We provide a lot of athletic facilities, and they are all located inside our fitness center. They have the therapy services, as well as their own computer labs for studying. Purdue Calumet treats their athletes very well.

Overall Experience: PUC is a great local option for higher education.

Overall Experience: My school is great for me personally because its not too big, and its not too small. My greatest experience would be working on campus. I am currently a campus ambassador, so I give tours to students who are interested in attending the university. I am a psychology major so my job allows me to get to know different people everytime I go to work. I would definately choose Purdue Calumet again because of all the great people that attend the school, as well as the caring professors. I definately recommend this university for anyone interested in attending college.

Health & Safety: Sometimes, the environment is not horrible. I barely like going to some facilities because of the poor conditions

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love how passionate my professors are

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love living at the dorms. I've met many new people there and friends

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I've never really made interaction with anyone from the Greek life

2 College Freshman

Athletics: The athletic facility is not great at all. Whenever I go and workout, all I want to do is get out and workout on my own because it is dirty and not a lot is offered.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It's a good school, but often seems to be difficult to find part-time jobs. Other than that, professors are great and the administration is helpful

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I have had no knowledge of anything like sexual assault actually happening on my his campus. Any reports are taken very seriously...so seriously that many have been investigated and found to be false.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Overall, there are good and bad things. The biology department is very good as are the other sciences. A lot of the professors in the other departments grade based on favoritism. The food on campus is outrageously expensive as well as a gym membership(which should be free to students).

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Depending on what degree you have definitely determines what opportunities are given. The sciences do really well with providing students with opportunities.

Campus Housing: It's the worst, because of the RA's who break the rules themselves. A lot of the rules are too strict and extreme. The little fees, like taking the trash out and coming back in the same door, are ridiculous.

1 College Junior

Greek Life: It's the worse for me, because I am easily annoyed by most of the fraternities and sororities that I know. They are very immature and horrible people to be around. They rarely do anything for the community or even have parties. They just hangout, gossip, and bully. They seem like junior high students. I have turned down being in a sorority multiple times due to the kind of people they were. I do know a minority of fraternities and sororities that actually make a good name for Greek life at Purdue Calumet.

4 College Junior

Athletics: I believe the athletics department is great for me, because I have easily been able to meet my needs at the school's gym. However, it would be a lot better if students could use the gym for free all year. It is a little ridiculous for student to have to pay money each semester to use the gym that is not that fancy. The gym is sufficient for me, but I would really like to not have to pay any money to us it.

Overall Experience: There are some very good things about this school, and there are some very bad things about this school. I will start with the bad. One bad thing is that every professor I've had that doesn't teach a science class has had a huge favoritism problem. The English department and the Spanish department have demonstrated the most unfair grading system I have ever seen (based on favoritism) in all my years of schooling. Another bad thing for Purdue Calumet is the fact that all courses are not offered each semester. On the bright side, Purdue Calumet has an awesome Biology department. Everything is graded based on if the material was learned or not. They are completely engaged in everything each student does that has to do with the course. There are many opportunities provided for students by the biology department as well. There is a lot of potential for Purdue Calumet.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I don't feel unsafe in any way on campus, not threatened by anyone at any time of day
