1 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I don't get the same amount of money for my classes for every semester, and I would like to have four classes each semester but they will only pay for two.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The classes are very understandable when real life gets in the way of your schooling. If you get sick for months on end, the teachers will work with you.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I haven't gotten that far yet.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I understand my teachers one hundred percent. I get along with them and they help me one on one when i need it.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I get very scared talking in front of a class, so i save all my questions for after class or go to my teacher's office for private meetings where i can get help on assignments I am currently having trouble with. During classes, I tend to stay to myself.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I'm not exactly taking the classes i will need to be an interior designer in the future however it will be for the better for my degree in the future.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love Pueblo Community College, it's easy to get signed up for classes, and its reliable on getting grades back to me before classes even end.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I cannot express enough how valuable the resources are at my school. As long as you know what is available and who to ask for it youbwill be on the right track. The school definitely looks out for students who need more of a flexible schedule so they offer night classes, weekend classes, and day classes so you have variety.

Online Courses: I have had some babysitting troubles that prevent me from going to class from time to time which my school is very understanding. The library allows us to check out laptops and lecture dvds which i have taken advantage of frequently so that i can stay current in my class. The online courses are very similar to the In class sessions with the same work load.

Career Services: My career center isn't as resourceful as id want them to be. They answer basic questions but dont know too many specifics. Alot of the employees are students on work study who may not know allnof the resources offered. However if i have a question they don't know they surely try to ask to find out.

Overall Experience: I havr had a wide range of professors, my favorite were the ones who were honest and helping. I could ask questions and get reliable information as well as assistance on my grades and what i can do for future tests. However some were very overbearing with authority and would treat us as if we were not yet adults and treated us as non compliant teenagers. Going to the restroom in those classes was something i never wanted to do, in fear of getting embarased and yelled at. We should be respected as adults. Every teacher has there own style and its hard to adapt but doable.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My school was high ranked based on the jobs students found after graduating. This is very appealing because that is our goal as students to find a job quickly after graduation.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am focusing on dental hygiene and am currently finishing up prerequisites to apply to the program. Just based on the curriculum i feel an overwhelming flush of information. In reality though, most of what i learned in my prerequisites will only come into play a fraction of the time when i am finally a dental hygienist. I cannot wait to be a second year student in the associate of dental hygiene because that is when i will finally be able to work on patients and work in my field shortly after+

Overall Experience: My school is based in a town where teen pregnancy, addiction, and felonies are more common than degrees. So the school goes above and beyond to keep their students on the path toward success. Although our success depends on us personally this school gives us the edge we need with various resources like laptop checkouts you can take home, dvd lectures if u happen to miss class, scholarship workshops, etc. I would definitely choose to attend this school just because of the convenience of the small canpus and upmost support from the staff.

Overall Experience: My experience with courses and professors at Pueblo Community College has been average. Some courses have been more memorable than others, but I noticed that was primarily because the professors in those classes were very interactive with all of the students and encouraged us daily. The class sizes varied in my enrollment there, ranging from 10 students to 40 students. As the semester goes on usually more students drop the class and by the end of the semester the class is only half full. I have to say that most teachers rush the information being taught or they sit down during time designated for lectures. With the teachers were interactive in the class, I took the most knowledge from. The classes offered for specific areas were limited because it is a smaller campus, but it is understandable.

Overall Experience: I rate Pueblo Community College's prospects and the value of a degree from this school separately. From my personal experience thus far, the staff says that earning my degree is very important which I agree with completely. When I have talked to several counselors about internships they did not have any advice to give me because the college does not award, recognize or give credit hours for internships. The most advice I have received about my degree was to complete my classes with high grades because it will benefit me later on. I have not received any encouragement or support from any counselors. The attitude from them is simply 'get it done'.

Academic Experience: To be a business management major at my school is both rewarding and disappointing. It is rewarding because all of credits are a guaranteed transfer to any Colorado university. It is reassuring and satisfying to know that my credits will not be lost in the transfer process. The downside of being a business management major at my school is that there are absolutely no credit, class, or recognition awards for being granted an internship. It was disappointing for me to find this out because I know friends that are attending other colleges that are receiving some form of award for their internship experience. I was doing research not long ago, and I read that Human Resources Management jobs would be in high demand in the projected 50 years. That kept me determined and assured I was making the correct career field to work in. My classes are interesting and challenging, but not too tough because this is the field I have prepared myself for. With that said, the workload and curriculum are things I am enjoying.

Academic Experience: So far I've only done pre requisites for the program I hope to get into. They were great classes and I actually learned a lot from them.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It is hard to get into the right classes at the right times because they fill up so quickly, especially when trying to work around kids and a job.
