Comfortable With Slight Disadvantages – Pratt Community College's resource centers are readily available during the day. Unfortunately, the library's hours can be inconvenient for the busy college student. The computers are housed in the library, so it makes it difficult to get work done. The gym is very nice as well as the auditorium. It would be nice to have more places to congregate, but as for the two places that are available, they are very comfortable and relaxing to be in. Overall, the campus is comfortable and small, with slight disadvantages.

Pratt is close to home and has the community involvement of a small town. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of college students to do so there are numerous trips to Wichita about an hour away. It would be nice for the support of girls' athletics to be stronger so fundraisers by athletes weren't necessary. Dorms are nice and classroom work is pretty difficult in many, but not all, credit hours.

Office staff are short with students, rude and unknowledeable in their area. They lose important documents quite frequently, and do not inform students when documents are needed until too late. The staff members do not ever have the right answer for you, and will pass you off to the next person, having you run around in circles for information that ONE person should be able to give a student. Then the information that you finally do receive is unreliable and the student takes the blame for it. Teachers are more concerned with collecting a paycheck and have no motivation to help their students succeed. Not to mention that EVERY employer looks down on Pratt CC graduates and are very reluctant in hiring them. I wish I had known this information before attending Pratt CC.
