3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Dorms are a lot bigger than most schools. The social aspect is okay.. It can get hard to meet new people unless you are a freshman.

Athletics: There are not a lot of involvement between student athletes and non student athletes. I am an athlete myself and no one even knows that my team exists, only other student athletes. Even if we are a winning team.... I think that if the football team won a little more, the student body would be more involved in sports.

Administration: They definitely discourage any kind of drinking in dorms, but as long as you are quiet, they don't really bother you.

Off-Campus Dining: Depends what kind of eater you are. If you eat late at night, there are more fast food places but if you are health conscious, then it gets a little hard to find food at night. Usually there are plenty of options for all kinds of eaters.

Health & Safety: I wouldn't say people would call it a safe campus, but I personally do not feel at risk when I am walking around at night by myself .

Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of options when it comes to housing. The houses next to campus are pretty hard to find, but there are always people looking for roommates. Apartments are non-university housing but mostly students live there.

Party Scene: Depends what party you go to, usually house parties are pretty crazy and packed! Don't go to any dorm room parties because you'll get busted really easily.

Campus Food: Not the best, but if you are a struggling college student, you'd pretty much eat whatever is available. Can't be picky if you got no money.

Overall Experience: It's not the best, but my experience so far was great.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I found one close to campus, but its very expensive, especially because its only 200 sq. ft. (free hot water/ garbage sewer/ internet though)

Campus Housing: the campus housing at PSU sucks!!!! Those so called RA's dont care about you 9not that they should) but they dont address the issue when you call them. For instance, you are trying to study but your next door neighbor is having a party. You try to call the R.A but he/she doesn't even answer!!!

Health & Safety: I hear a lot about people getting assaulted, but not much about catching the offender.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: Not really much into partying but I heard it was ok.

2 College Junior

Administration: I honestly think they could be better, but then again, we are adults and we pay to have the full college experience.

Majors: Letter of recommendation, couple of essays, GPA of 3.0

Athletics: Varsity sports on campus are not highly advertised. The gym is great though. Super sustainable.

4 College Junior

Local Area: Lots of things going on. You just need to find the right resources

4 College Junior

Scholarships: There are a lot of scholarships available, but its very competitive.

2 College Freshman

Greek Life: There is only one sorority and fraternity at PSU, and the desire to join both is pretty low among the student body. Their presence on campus is practically nonexistent and there is no Greek life housing.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There is an excellent student health care system to provided to all students and the school takes sexual assault seriously.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of options for off-campus housing, however the school does not make any effort to help its students find any. Housing right near campus can also be very expensive and not within student's price range because it is in the downtown of the city.

4 College Freshman

Administration: The campus strictness is pretty average on campus. The administration does a good job of making me feel safe, but at the same time they allow for a lot of fun on campus without letting it get out of hand.

4 College Freshman

Majors: The professors that teach for the major I am earning are extremely knowledgable and their lectures are very informative. They have continually held my interest in the subject. There are a variety of classes to enjoy and learn from that also count towards my degree that are offered here.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I have not held an internship, but I plan on doing one in order to enrich my educational experience and to prepare for the workforce that I hope to be a part of. On the other hand, the university does not have a fast, available access to ways to find out about scholarships.
