3 College Senior

Student Body: There is a lot of diversity at Portland Community College. I do not find much of my social life partaken with classmates however, and feel that a lot of students share a similar experience.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: Very diverse amount of people. I like the openness of the school for its large amount of people.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: The typical student may be ones most people don't like. They're neither trying hard or hardly trying. Yet they may be quiet, or annoying. Having both characteristics regardless of in what order is really not beneficial to other students.

4 College Senior

Student Body: The students that I have interacted with have been very helpful.

The student body at Portland Community College is pretty diverse. You will find all kinds of students of all ages and walks of life. There are many international students from all over, including such countries as France, China, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Mexico.

While every student is different, the one thing that unites each and every one of them is the goal to further one's education. Also, most students are very welcoming, friendly, and approachable. However, one of the drawbacks to so many unique students focused on getting an education is that it can be hard to socialize with each other, since most people just go to class and go home.
