Overall Experience: I am having the time of my life attending school. I've been out for 35 years and was very apprehensive about returning. I began my classes and made the honor roll! I've since completed my second semester and I made the dean's list! Pitt Community College is the best!

Career Services: I do not have experience with regards to the career center, alumni network, nor job prospects from my experience at Pitt. I am only going to be beginning my first full time semester in the fall. My experiences with the student success center were great and I was able to get on track to pursue my educational goals. The staff was extremely helpful.

However, as I continued through the online courses, I found that I worked well doing the learning on my schedule as I worked full time. l learned well and enjoyed the process. I felt I could be in connection with other students in the class as well as my instructor, who was accessible when I had questions throughout the semester.

Overall Experience: I have not yet completed my education and I am just beginning this Fall in pursuing the respiratory therapy program, but in researching the program offered at Pitt, I believe I will have real-life opportunities during my coursework to gain experience in the field to apply to my knowledge. The career center was helpful in guiding me in the coursework I will had to fulfill in order to take the next steps to pursue my educational goals and interests. The school has assisted me in ensuring this has been a smooth process to get to where I would like to be.

Academic Experience: So far, I have only taken one course at my school, but I have just been accepted into the Respiratory Therapy Program and I am looking very forward to the education I will receive from my school. So far, my instructor in the Health Science course I took was always accessible and helpful in providing encouragement as well as keeping us as a class organized in order to be successful in getting the most out of the class to pursue our goals.

Academic Flexibility: The only complaint I have is the lack of enthusiasm from the people who work in the Goess building. They are not always friendly or eager to help.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Registering for online courses is the same as in-person registration. They're a great option if you don't have enough time in your day to make your way to campus, and learning is user-friendly.

Career Services: In my opinion, it seems that more people end up with promising careers if they received a degree from PCC.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The class sizes are always perfect in my opinion- it reminds me of high school. I prefer taking hybrid classes, where most of the coursework is done online and the lecture and big exams are done in class. It's a big plus when you have a busier schedule but still need to be in person to absorb the curriculum.

Overall Experience: There are plenty of job and career opportunities at PCC. They just recently held a career fair, which I believe they do several times a year, or at least once a semester.

Academic Experience: PCC has a great Arts program, which is one of their main focuses. I really enjoy my classes, my workload is never too hectic either.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: So far, I have really enjoyed PCC. I was having trouble the first semester because I was missing deadlines and classes, but it was easy for me to start back up again this spring semester and it's never been better. The teacher-to-student ratio is small and teachers are generally very good at responding, and are willing to assist you if you have any issues with your classwork. There is opportunities for further learning, employment, etc. every week in the Goess building. There's always something going on there, and everyone gets the emails. I'm glad I came here first instead of a university, PCC has already taught me a lot of responsibility and experiences I never would've gotten.

Academic Flexibility: I have a child so working my schedule around times I get to be with him and going to school is great.
