Overall Experience: The school is beautiful but the staff isn't very communicative

Overall Experience: If you get the right teacher, most classes are pretty easy! Online classes are the best! Pima always has classes open to! No worries about registering at a certain time.

Overall Experience: I believe the teachers are great because they attend to every class and are always helping students succeed.

Overall Experience: I really enjoy the smaller campuses. I do most of my classes at Downtown Campus. However there online option has been great for me as well. I am able to study and get classwork and homework done while my kids are in school or asleep. The cost is great and I am getting a great education. The teachers are very nice and helpful. My Writing 101 teacher was so great I took Writing 102 with him as well. The people are friendly and the whole environment is wonderful. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking to go to college but cant afford the big universities.

Overall Experience: I love going to Pima Community College. I was accepted to several out of state universities before graduating High School, but the cost made it impossible to go. Pima has made it so I am getting the same level of education that I would be receiving elsewhere, for a fraction of the cost. This also means that while I get my associates degree, I can put extra money away, preparing myself for transferring out of state when the time comes.

Overall Experience: I love pima for the small class sizes and low cost.

Overall Experience: its overall good, the real struggle is if i'm going to be able to afford to go each year. it's a great school.

Overall Experience: My first semester was all about adjusting. I was in culture shock. Last time I was in school the only time I saw a computer. Now every class a person takes there is a computer involved whether it is after class or in class. The teachers and student counselors were great. They helped me through a difficult time and made sure I was successful. I would recommend to anyone

Overall Experience: Pima is great regarding costs and availability in both location and smaller class sizes (which allows the professors to truly interact with their students) however, Pima's recent troubles with accreditation have diminished their reputation and the quality of their institution.

Overall Experience: Pima Community College is simple, cheap, and practical. I'm saving $24k for my general credits. It's great.

Overall Experience: I've had instructors that are very proud of their job and I've also had instructors that seem to just be there for the paycheck

Overall Experience: It's a good price. It saves a lot of money to go here for 2 years, and then transfer to another university.

Overall Experience: I like the environment but some teachers lack motivation and do not do well in front of a crowd. They lack enthusiasm and creativity.

Campus Resources: Pima is a great school with helpful staff. if you know what you want to major in right out of high school will do just fine.

Overall Experience: Wish I went to Pima first instead of the university, it is not easy to transition from high school to higher education, especially when you're not from a family where your parents are familiar with the whole college process or when you have to worry about your finances while getting your education. Pima can help with that transition.

Academic Flexibility: It mostly depends on the classes you're taking and the program. Gen eds are usually flexible and lots of options and variety in format. Theatre class, not so much. I cannot speak for other programs.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: It is not the most amazing college experience but it will do what you need it to do and for a way cheaper price. Plus for the most part everyone is pretty nice and its easy to get the gist of things at Pima.

Student Body: Tucson is a diverse town but depending on what campus you go to will determine the diversity. West Campus and Downtown Campus will probably be the most diverse since they're near the University of Arizona and the communities that surround them. Desert Vista may not be too diverse but that is solely because there is a large minority population there.

Tuition & Financial Aid: As someone with a very abysmal EFC, I was not too worried about financial aid, but the process for your first time can be somewhat stressful if you put it off too long since of the paperwork takes for ever to process. The financial aid is not too efficient at times and can be a nuisance. After the first time, which is horrible, the other year(s) should be smooth sailing. If you do your work early, scholarships should be available for you to apply. Make use of STARSOnline.

Career Services: If you plan on transferring to the University of Arizona, it's a great because they have a class to help you transition into the UofA in a stress free manner... if you're going to one of the other 2 Arizona universities, make use of the AZ transfer guide, but for the majority you're on your own and better make use of transfer advisors at your prospective school (don't be frightened away but know that it won't be as easy as the first option).

Academic Experience: Even though I was involved in the theatre program at my school, I wasn't a theatre major because it would take too long to finish and transfer for my timeline. As long as you are a Pima student, you can be involved with the shows, you DON'T have to be part of the theatre program to be involved (which is sometimes a good thing and is sometimes a bad thing).

Academic Experience: The academics (acting classes) are pretty chill, which can be good or bad because if you're working alone you can go at your own pace for the most part as long as you do everything on time. This environment is not so great when you're working on a scene and your partner(s) is too chill about whether or not showing up to class or the amount of effort they're willing to put in (luckily this never happened to me but I've seen it happen to others). Registration is always easy and not too stressful. The instructors are usually pretty good and are great to work with. Very safe environment for actors to work and grow in.
