Overall Experience: I have to say I was very lucky to have some of the best teachers available this semester. All of my professors were very knowledgeable about the subjects they were teaching. My teachers were helpful when any of the students came to them for help and didn't mind to go over things a few extra times to make sure we definitely understood the material.

Overall Experience: For anyone going into the medical programs the school definitely does make an effort to provide students with career opportunities. The students in the veterinary programs all attend a different farm or veterinary office to show students what it's like in the field.

Overall Experience: It is a really fantastic school to attend. I make better grades in my college classes than I actually did in high school. All of my teachers have been very helpful in regards to answers I have asked. In high school I had a 3.5 GPA my senior year. My first semester of college I had a 4.0 GPA. My only complaint about the school is the process of paying off the cost of classes and books with Financial Aid. It shows on your account how much you received but does not give you the option to use that money. I've had to go on campus several times to have this issue fixed. I'm currently an off campus student, living an hour away, so this is very inconvenient for me. Other than that it is a really fantastic school to attend, but sometimes the people working in the student help center are not very organized.

Overall Experience: College is a great learning experience. I've met so many nice people that seem to be lifelong friends at this point, and I get along with all of my professors. I pace myself in my classes so as to not get stressed out, and things work out quite well. :) The only stressful part is funding for college, as I didn't really get any financial aid. But other than that, Pierpont has been a very nice college to me.

Overall Experience: The professors and chefs continue to help you strive day in and day out. The school of Culinary Arts at Pierpont Community and Technical College has by far exceeded my expectations.

Academic Flexibility: Most of my classes are online so I can achieve my homework deadlines while I am at family gatherings.

Overall Experience: My favorite experience would be when I walked into my first class, which was Introduction to Psychology, when my professor was full of jokes.

My school is unique because they have many majors, and they also have many different cultures attending classes.

I would choose this college again because it makes me feel like I belong there.

Overall Experience: Everytime I need help with something, my professors would help me even if it meant staying after class for awhile.

Overall Experience: Pierpont gives you a great opportunity to find a job because they give you chances to get an internship to prepare you and give you the experience needed for the job you are applying.

Online Courses: I love the online classes. It allows me to have a great opportunity to communicate with my classmates better, because as you will know we are in a tech savvy culture.

Student Body: The students at Pierpont are very diverse. They have students from all over that come to take their two year courses.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The school is relatively cheap compared to some of the school that are local to my house.

Career Services: The blackboard system helps you find local opportunities. It shows what places are open for someone to participate in an inter/externship.

Academic Experience: Most of the professor are there to help when needed

Campus Resources: The resources on the campus are fantastic. We have a bookstore located right on the campus, and we also have a library on campus to use when it is needed.

Overall Experience: I truly feel like I am getting what I paid out of my own pocket for. The classes are a small size, which makes going to class and the environment a lot nicer.

Academic Flexibility: My schedule that I needed this semester was a little difficult to schedule because of timing conflicts between classes and few classes were offered at different times.

Student Body: The student body on campus is quite diverse. There are lots of different backgrounds, religions & races. My experience has been wonderful connecting and interacting with new friends and gaining new appreciation and acceptance of all views and ways of life.

Online Courses: My experience so far with my online courses has been a positive one. All instructors are pretty good at giving clear instructions about what they expect and when the assignments and exams are due. It does take out the student/professor relationship because it is not a face-to-face setting, however, they do their best to answer all questions in a timely manner. Peer-to-peer interaction is the forefront of these courses because they can guide you on assignments if the professor is not available to help.

Campus Resources: The athletic center (Falcon Center) is the newest building on campus. It is quite nice as it is equipped with a work out facility, swimming pool, basketball courts, food court, and convenience stores. The library is nice, however many students think it should be equipped with more private study labs and computers to accommodate the rise in online courses & technology. Campus activities lack a bit because the campus is not as large as our neighbor, WVU, however there is still plenty to take advantage of. I myself am a member of a sorority here on campus.

Academic Experience: Now that I have determination to obtain my degree, my academic experience has greatly improved. I enjoy going to class and learning the new material the professors provide us.

Academic Experience: Fairmont State University & Pierpont Community & Technical College both are outstanding institutions. They offer a wide variety of degrees with flexible courses offered throughout both semesters to ensure that students make the most of their course schedule. I am in the process of obtaining a two-year degree in Business & Human Resources and I have found that many professors & staff really want you to succeed.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My experience with financial aid has been nothing short of a hassle. Although I have a 3.8 GPA, the office is refusing to offer me financial aid because of grades in my very first fall semester of 2009/2010. I have made great progress and completely turned around my grades & I continue to strive toward my goals but they refuse to see this and only go off past records.

Campus Resources: As good as it can get.
