The campus has a large variety of resources to offer it's students! The library has a bunch of helpful research materials and helpful librarians. It also has a text-a-librarian resource for additional help. As well as that, we have a tutoring center with trained tutors in every subject. There are a wide variety of kinds of tutors as well, from peer tutors who take weekly appointments and provide one-on-one help to supplementary instructors who drop in on classes and lead study groups for classes. The office of student life is very friendly and takes a lot of pride in planning involved events for the campus and loves to help students succeed. We also have a student newspaper that encourages the participation of students. The whole campus wants everyone to be involved and to build a community.

Overall, I have had a wonderful experience at Pierce College. Being in a private-school system throughout the rest of my life, it was hard to transition to a different place and education setting. But Pierce College was a huge stepping stone in the process and provided me with great education for a fair-amount of money. I would not only recommend others to attend Pierce College, but I would encourage most people to go to Community College because of the "community" atmosphere, size of classes, tuition expenses, and overall great professors who are well-invested in their students. I honestly could say with stature that if I did it all over again, I would do exactly what I did, but with a twist! I would try to go out-of-my-way to be nice and inviting to other people on campus, and I would try to understand my wants and needs as a student more.

I have found the nursing program to be excellent. The professors are very helpful, and want to work with you for your success!
The few holes in the completeness of the curiculum are constantly being tuned to have the full picture needed. The head of the department if is really working for the further advancement of the program with greater real-live experience in the school nursing lab and the best clicical time possible. The staff are also very helpful with the application and registration process. The curriculum helps you progress and move torward the end goal of both your graduation and successful passing of the NCLEX registration exam.
