Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
Get in touch with the Career Center people early on (they're very approachable), and take advantage of what they can teach you, for free, about how to find an internship and present yourself to employers. Enlist the help of the Writing Center's tutors as you put together your résumé; they can also help you polish business documents and application essays. The career and internship fairs on campus generally do not offer an enormous spectrum of job options, but be sure to attend, just in case. Also, use your free MonsterTRAK account, courtesy of Pepperdine, and check out what local job postings are available in the Career Center's Resource Room.
