5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: While on campus I find the computer labs, library, and other labs to be very helpful, and so far I have not experienced anything bad in that department. I know that if I have a problem at home with my internet connections I can always go on campus and use their facilities.

Campus Resources: Everything and everyone at the campus is very helpful. Each time that I go to the school campus I always feel very welcome, and glad that I chose this college to be my first college experience.

Campus Resources: My school has a great tutoring system. Where there are free tutoing session in our library. This is extremely helpful for when taking the harder courses such as chemistry or calculus. I know I would have failed chemistry if not for the tutoring session I got. Also most of the people here are going on academic scholorships, and need to keep their grades high, even in the difficult courses.

Campus Resources: For the most part, the computer network is pretty much on par with what I would expect from a College. The biggest issue is that they have two conflicting networks, one hubbed with a PC system, and the art department is hubbed with a Mac system. Trying to communicate between the two, although it isn't often required, is a nightmare. Other than that small blip, and the occasional high traffic lag, I've never really been disappointed with it.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have to admit that I have been blessed with financial aid to help me pay for my schooling. I'm going to school for nursing and it can get expensive and even if you do not qualify for financial aid there are scholarships and loans to help pay for tuition and expenses.

Academic Experience: I have really enjoyed my experience at this school. The professors are great they take time to explain things if you need some extra help out even extra credit. The only thing with registration is that you have to get a early start on it so that you are able to get the classes that you want before they fill up.

Campus Resources: Printing on campus is free, which is great, the printers are hardly ever broken, however at certain times of the year they get overloaded and jammed. They are generally fixed in a very short amount of time. The computer labs are nice, there are 2-3 on just the Milton campus and they have many computers with full Microsoft programs and they are always running sufficiently. There is also free Wi-Fi on campus, I find myself using it on a daily basis. Personal computers are great if you want to sit outside and do your work to enjoy the weather.

Academic Flexibility: The classes and curriculum at the school are very well set up, they are easy to get into, easy to drop if you can't manage the class, and the teachers, all very good, also have different styles of teaching for different students. The biggest hassle is that I attend the Milton Campus of PSC and a lot of classes I need for my degree are not offered there so I have to drive a further distance sometimes to Pensacola for those classes. This has only happened one semester.

Student Body: At PSC there is a free speech green where students who feel they need/or desire to speak about anything religious, political, etc, are allowed to go and speak their minds. Anyone that tries to threaten, harm, humiliate, anger, etc the person talking is immediately taken to the Dean and I have heard of them getting kicked out. There is a decent variety of ethnicities and I have never witnessed one being excluded, picked on, or included more than others.

Campus Resources: My school has a lot to offer students movies, food, and a lot off people that are there to try to help. I just cant seem to find any financial help other than pell grant.

Academic Flexibility: I did try to switch an English class, I could'nt so I'm stuck.

Career Services: The secretaries and service ladies, aren't friendly

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The online professors are kind and work with you for the most part, as long as you turn in things on time.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There are a lot of students that are from other places all over the world. The cultural difference is greatly unexpected and loved by many.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: It's a great campus but it is always hard to get smaller schools involved with its students. The facilities are always open for the public and is great with working it's hours around those who need it. Great campus to relax and study and there are always needed resources around.

Academic Flexibility: Completed my associates degree at this school and have never had issues

Student Body: There is much diversity at my college, especially in age.

Campus Resources: The school is very nice and the resources available, for the most part, are very reliable.

Academic Flexibility: The reason I chose Pensacola State College was because it was closer to home. They offered class that help me work around my work classes. They have programs such as, student support services , that offer free tutoring, counseling and are willing to help get you to your next level in education.

Academic Flexibility: I believe this college works really well with a students schedule. I don't do well in early morning classes so the college had later start days ,it sastifys me.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I'm taking college algebra and English comp 1 online and I love it. Everything is laid out for you and very easy to understand. I was amazed by all the helpful resources.

Academic Experience: It's great. I'm majoring in Art. They have an amazing art program with wonderful resources and staff.

Campus Resources: There's not many things right now that the school has going on that would make it stand out from other schools. We have a few athletic teams here who are very good and have established great programs, and our campus is really getting better at creating more student activities for the students to get involved around campus. Our student activities program has put on movie nights, free lunches, and activity fairs.

Academic Flexibility: My experience at this school so far has been great. Usually all the professors here are very helpful and give you exactly the tools you need to succeed. The classes are a little challenging but not overwhelming, and the class sizes are small so it's great for class discussions and one-on-one time with the teacher. The classes here are very flexible for all different kinds of schedules.

Online Courses: I really enjoy my online class. I'm taking one for the first time this semester, Anatomy 2 which I took last semester and had to withdraw. I'm doing much better because their is more interactive course work other than sitting in a lecture hall listening to a teacher talk. She explains things very well in her lectures that I listen to on itunes and answers any questions I have through email. It's nice not to have to commute also, I would efinitely recommend taking an online course!
