From Pennsylvania College of Art & Design

Located in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania and founded in 1982, Pennsylvania College of Art & Design is a private, professional art college offering BFA degrees in digital media, fine art, graphic design, illustration, and photography. Because visual, verbal, and virtual communication is increasingly valued in a global society, our curriculum emphasizes the relationships among thinking, making, and communicating. A small college with a big reach, we transform our students by challenging them to cultivate expansive points-of-view and create sophisticated visual output. The ability to continue to learn and create extends beyond the college experience. PCA&D is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), is approved as a college and for degree-granting privileges by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and is a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art & Design (AICAD).

There was a lot of extra pieces to submit in the application process for art school and they would always check in on the progress and certain things getting submitted.

Not the most expensive school out there, but definitely not worth all the money I'm paying so far

I like my school. The people are very friendly. It's just really, REALLY small and there are a lot of things I feel like I'm missing out on like calculus and clubs.
