Penn state is a great university! Some of the professors have a slight language gap though. Overall the University is great and I've learned a lot about my field and life choices!

If you are a dedicated student who wants to get the most out of your academic experience at college, then Penn State is a great university at which to do so. The professors are some of the best that you will encounter, which is probably why the tuition is high. In addition to the staff, Penn State offers numerous research opportunities, which further heighten the value of education at Penn State. This university boasts a extremely unique athletics experience, especially in football. The whole university rallies behind its varsity teams uniting the school even more. The extracurricular opportunities are bar none as well. There are hundreds of clubs and organizations for students of all interests, so if athletics or research is not your thing you will still be able to get involved in one way or another. The party scene is also a large part of the Penn State experience, which for some, such as myself, can be somewhat overwhelming.

Penn State really does "check off" all of the college priorities list: it has an expansive and beautiful campus with lovely architecture, big 10 sports, endless clubs and IM sports, parties, and strong academics. The one area that somewhat lacks is the campus diversity--while there are people of every race and origin, for a 40,000+ undergrad population, there should be more diversity.
