3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are a few off-campus housing apartment complexes that most of the students fill up pretty fast. The costs are relatively affordable ($600-800) per month.

2 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life has very little influence on the campus. There are a few sororities and fraternities but they do not have their own housing as of yet.

2 College Junior

Party Scene: I commute to campus so I do not regularly attend parties every weekend on campus. I have heard from multiple students that the parties are very small and there are usually only 1-2 to attend to per weekend.

2 College Junior

Local Area: Harrisburg and the surrounding areas are starting to diminish. There is very little public transportation and night life is non-existent. There are a few semi-pro sports teams for amusement but other than that the city of Harrisburg is in a downward spiral.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: The campus at Penn State Harrisburg is safe to walk through at night or day. I commute to class everyday so I do not get to experience walking around the dorms/ on campus every night but I do have a night class every now and then.

College Junior

Campus Food: I have never purchased food on campus yet. I tend to pack a lunch everyday or eat off-campus.

Off-Campus Dining: Middletown is an older neighborhood with a ton of elderly community members who do not appreciate the campus being built so close to their homes. There has been complaints about the new addition of buildings and dorm rooms taking up their public space. Also, most of the food options are either fast food or no food at all. This town could definitely use a bit more off-campus diversity and activities.

4 College Freshman

Administration: they're not that strict. The school gives students lots of freedom

3 College Freshman

Athletics: We overall support, but we loose almost all games lol

College Freshman

Greek Life: I'm a freshman, I have yet to see them promote the Greek Life

3 College Freshman

Majors: In the near future i do plan on to have an internship being as though it will help toward my job field. I honestly don't have any concerns about finding an internship because my job field is constantly hiring new people.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Not that many options that i know of begin as though I'm a freshman, but as of now seems not to be too many options.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I live in off campus housing and it literally right next to school so its accessible, about a 10-15 minute walk and a 2 minute drive. The pros of living off campus is i get a full kitchen and a dinning room area, plus an elevator. The cons are that the elevators don't always work properly. Over all the price is cheaper than on campus ad provides lots of parking. The safety system is good because you need an ID card in order to inter into your building and only your building and the same thing with your rooms

2 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food is way over priced and they don't have a lot of GMO free options.

Party Scene: I do not go to parties on campus.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: The town is not the best to live in but the surrounding areas are nicer.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: It is a diverse group that Penn State has.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus. I have an apartment of campus.

4 College Freshman

Administration: I like the campus policies and how they are reinforced throughout the campus. I believe that their is always room for improvement but for the most part it is a great place to earn a degree.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus is kept very safe by the office of the physical plant. A problem never goes more than a couple of hours before they fix it.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: The community is very quite its up and coming . Theres not much shoppoing around however if you travel to the city there is plenty to do. The safty is no threatening..

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Not much that is close to school

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life here consists of doing stupid, embarrassing, and dangerous (amongst other things) things that have nothing to do with being a Greek. You don't get the true experience of learning and proper (non abusive) discipline that was once held up by Greek Life

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Very little crime happens on campus, at least reported crimes, maybe because it's in an older populated town

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus but it seems to be a good place to live.
