Are you someone who doesn't believe in bathing and would like to avoid it at all costs during college? Do you like to build up a funk like someone bet you that you couldn't? Well, if so, Penn State Altoona housing is for you! Personally, I like to harvest a smell comparable to India's street food. One step in my dorm, and you'll feel like you just stepped into new Delhi! Don't worry about rude roommates or pesky cleaning ladies who are disgusted by your natural hygienic habits. The housing coordinators are very apathetic and quick to ignore all of these disrespectful comments.

Take a Drive Down the Boulevard – Altoona is the place to be if you love to eat. Elegant resturants like Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Long Horn Steak House, Outback Steak house, and TGI Fridays are all high quality resturants that charge an affordable price! We are also the originators of Sheetz, which is a convenience resturant that carries anything your heart desires, and prepares it at a phenominally quick rate. This is not the only fast food resturant here though, Altoona carries McDonalds, Wendy's, Long John Silvers, Taco Bell, Arby's, and Burger King. There aren't very many places that offer student discounts, but the prices are so cheap that you will feel like you are constantly getting food at discount price.

I love my school and seriously bleed blue and white, even after only being here for 1 full year. I was accepted into main campus as well but choose to go here because it was cheaper, and after the year I've had here, I wouldn't take it back for anything, even if I could suddenly afford main campus I'd stay here. I can't overstate how much fun I've had here. It was literally the best, most exciting year of my life and I hope it will be the same for everyone reading this as well. We Are!
