4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I commute 120 miles a day to take classes, everyone has been very helpful with advisors to student services

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I take Psychology on line and the class is great

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: The Carreer center is a great tool.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: History of Rock -n- Roll is the greatest class, love it and look forward to it every day

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: not really sure about the program yet

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am only doing pre req's so it is just basic

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Student Center is so wondrefull and have been very helpful as well. Classes are interesting and teachers so far have been ok. Wish they offered more summer courses

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: So great, this school is really diverse and friendly towards everyone.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Everyone is really friendly, the atmosphere is great. If you do fall behind there is free tutoring for almost every class. The student body is extremely diverse and very friendly. The athletics are very fun to watch and everyone gets behind the teams and there is a ton of school spirit.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The welding shop has everything needed to do what we need to.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I had to wait for welding classes for almost a year because the beginning classes are only offered in the fall.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Not much experience with online courses. My courses were hybrid so parts were online. Tech support seemed short and not willing to help when I had trouble. I got referred to another dept

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: I've had several professors display highly unprofessional behavior and poor judgment.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: There are a lot of useless degrees that will not help anyone get work but there are also some that are really targeted toward trade skills.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Pretty much what you can expect from a community college. They offer great facilities but the instructors can be really unprofessional. The HR director can be observed trolling gay hookup apps like grinder regularly. I had to block him because he kept messaging me. Seems like misconduct. Especially because I can see he's on the app while at school.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I have had no trouble with availability and or interference of family commitments. Nor have I had any issues keeping caught up.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I am very pleased on how convenient online classes have helped in my learning. Again if you need help, ask and all the help you need is readily available. Just don't procrastinate because you think it's ok I'll do tomorrow doesn't work. Don't fall behind it very difficult to keep caught up.

2 College Junior

Career Services: They don't offer career services.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: So far most of my classes have been very informative. The variety of different classes offered for the same class makes it so easy. If classes are to full they may have online classes for your subject or the adviser will help out and change classes so you don't fall behind.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: This is a very small town so if you want to stay here there may not be a job available for what your degree is in. There are no job fares offered here. There are possible internships though!

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am starting my fourth quarter so I am now getting into internships. I am eager to advance in my career. In the process of waiting for a heart transplant, I will not be able to continue in my previous career so learning more about the business I am in is very exciting to me, and am very thankful that some good has come out a bad scenario!

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It is so wonderful how helpful the administration is, for an 39 year old student returning back to school to finish my education. The is so much help available for any class you enter into, with the math/writing lab and any tutors you may need! All that needs to be done is ask for help, and they are more than happy too!

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The campus is clean and attractively landscaped. I chose it so I could keep my current job, stay close to home, etc. Not bad for a community college.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Theteacuers are great and the learning atmosphere is great

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I took some adult education classes two years ago. This campus is pretty friendly and very nice people.Helpful and caring faculty.

Peninsula College provides a unique approach to learning and helping students excel in the career path of their choice. Instructors provide challenges that help prepare students for the working world or the univeristy they want to go to. In some aspects, students demand more support, but there are others who find the process of completing a degree or earning a license easy to achieve with a great staff.

What makes this college unique is that instructors are constantly providing outside sources to help students better understand a certain subject. Professors will often have students watch National Geographic for perspective on global issues or listen to authors who come and share their poems and short stories to help get a better understanding for why it's important to learn about literature.
